He has a grand total of 9 catches(zero last night) with Tom Brady delivering the mail.
He's an enigma at this point because we don't know how much of the drop off is related to his lack of motivation.

Not sure that it matters. Age looks to have caught to Favre ... finally.

Unless he ups his HGH dosage.
what im afraid of is if the o line can hold up long enough for moss to streak down the sideline, favre can just close his eyes and chuck it down the field for moss to get it.
but i dont know if moss has that in him anymore...
but then again, everyone thought he was washed up in oakland.

For the record, Moss has faced Dallas in 6 regular season games and 1 playoff game.

Moss/his teams are 7-0 in those games.

Pats fans should be grinning ear to ear. I'm sure the Vikings are about to be bent over for a 33 year old receiver.

A 33 year old receiver who won't stay in Minny after Favre retires, not to have that bunch throwing him passes. This could end up being a hilarious trade. You look at Minny and how they've run that team lately, you just know NE is going to come out smelling like a rose, and I think Minny will still go down the toilet.

Man this could be troublesome i always say that this team cowboys is cursed and that it's always some other team that overcomes the odds and succeeds and not us. See the Giants during our 13-3 year, the eagles the year after, etc.

If the vikes get moss and this launches them to the top of the pack i'll be pissed. I believed they were just a sidney rice away from being what they were last year and they can be even better with this guy.

You've got to be kidding me. Moss is still a freak - you think guys like Welker, Tate, Gronkowski, etc. are still going to be putting up big numbers when Moss isn't out there commanding double and triple teams? Sure, he hasn't put up big numbers yet this season like we're used to seeing, but the bracket coverage he forces other teams into playing makes New England's entire offense run. You think Wes Welker is a 123 catch, 1,300-yard player without Moss on the other side? Give me a break.

This makes NO sense for the Patriots. Their defense isn't Super Bowl ready, their only chance is to have the offense lead the way and so what do they do, trade Tom Brady's best target for a 2nd or 3rd rounder? Is a year of 33-year-old Brady's prime really worth a 3rd round pick?

I'd be careful, every time we doubted Moss and Favre they've always proven people wrong and then some.

Elite HOF caliber players tend to do that.

Moss hasn't lost it, he's just been dogging it like his Oakland days because he wanted a new contract and his old best friend Brady got a mega deal.

He will turn it back on as soon as he gets with his new team.

you are out of your mind if you think this deal makes no sense for NE...

Trading away a 33 yr old WR who you will keep for 12 more games or a 3rd rd draft pick??? LoL, NO BRAINER

Yeah i mean really, it's like they're throwing their season away. I don't think they can be an elite offense with Welker, Hernandez, and Tate as their main targets. If a defensive player was involved it'd make some sense but the pats don't need anymore picks.

Yeah, it's a no brainer, you keep Moss and actually, you re-sign Moss. He didn't lose it all in one year, he just wants to get paid. And even when he's out there dogging it, the way he frees up coverage for the rest of New England's targets on offense makes him worth keeping.

Tom Brady is 33, he's got a few years left - you want to get the best out of him those last few years, don't you? So don't trade away his best weapon for a 3rd rounder, especially when New England's draft history lately has been spotty as best.

Like I said, you think Welker is a 120 catch, 1,300 yard player without Moss? :lmao2: I've got some ocean front property to sell you if that's the case.

though I'd put Jenkins on him w/ confidence

Are you serious?

You think it's a little skewed when he tore us a new one in 98 and when he set the NFL record in 2007?

Stop with that stat please.

This makes NE look even more stupid for passing on Dez.
