Didn't the best cornerback in the NFL just pull a hamstring trying to cover him while Moss caught the ball with one hand?

If QB's throw him the ball, he's top 3.

Yup. His best days are gone. Patriots see the dropoff and know when to pull the trigger before it becomes a drastic dropoff.

Revis saw the drop off too and then pulled up lame.

Pats fans should be grinning ear to ear. I'm sure the Vikings are about to be bent over for a 33 year old receiver.

No kidding.

Somehow the Patriots are masters at collecting premium picks.

The impact he makes on opposing coverages alone is worth keeping him.

Yeah, it's a no brainer, you keep Moss and actually, you re-sign Moss. He didn't lose it all in one year, he just wants to get paid. And even when he's out there dogging it, the way he frees up coverage for the rest of New England's targets on offense makes him worth keeping.

Tom Brady is 33, he's got a few years left - you want to get the best out of him those last few years, don't you? So don't trade away his best weapon for a 3rd rounder, especially when New England's draft history lately has been spotty as best.

Like I said, you think Welker is a 120 catch, 1,300 yard player without Moss? :lmao2: I've got some ocean front property to sell you if that's the case.

What point of New England not re-signing Moss do you not udnerstand? It is 100% clear and it has been 100% clear all offseason that this was his last year with them..get a clue

What part of me saying "The Patriots should re-sign Moss" do you not understand? Learn to read. It's dumb for them to trade their best offensive weapon for a 3rd rounder because they're too cheap to pay him. End of story.

Hell i'd trade Roy while that Texans game is fresh in everyone's minds and a 4th or 5th for Moss.

Then you'd have Moss and Dez as monster deep threats and Miles in the slot wreaking havoc.

No thanks. I don't want to tread down the prima donna WR route again.

That'd be a sick lineup... but I don't want any more trouble from a WR.

I don't think Moss is anything like T.O, Ocho, or most other flashy diva receiver out there. When he gets paid he goes out there and just does work.

You won't hear crap from him if he doesn't have any catches in a particular game, but if there's a clear issue such as the lack of a contract/extension with the Pats he's gonna make a fuss about it.

It's the same with Boldin, Marshall, and most elite WRs really

I'm clueless? You apparently think a 3rd round pick is worth a year of Tom Brady's prime - that's fine, I disagree.

Wasnt Moss promised a deal in NE?

From all accounts ....Moss has been a great teamate there and was applauded there for his work ethic.

They repay his dedication and hard work by trading him? I dont know....maybe Moss is asking for too much money.....maybe mangement and owner dont want to fork over that type of cash to a old WR.......who knows....but Moss is a difference maker and still does make defenses account for him with constant double teams.

We know NE is in a somewhat rebuilding mode.....their defense is young....and not very good right now.....but this move wont help Brady any.....didnt they lose Faulk too....to injury?

Moss to minny will certainly help the Vikes.....

That's why i don't see Moss going there, short term it'd be great but if he wants a long term contract he'd be better off going somewhere else. Minny isn't the only place that can win a ring by adding him, maybe a team like the falcons could use him. White+Moss would be pretty sick.
