And the Chargers continue to stockpile average receivers. :lmao2:

Nice job drafting Davis in the first round.

It's really good since Chambers played for Norv when he was their OC few years back.

To take a page out of Parcell's book....

Options.... I like options...

And then a page out of Belichicks book -
Look what New England did... they loaded up on Wide Receivers... worked out well...

Thing is.... no one in Dallas should feel safe about their starting job.... if someone is available.... lets have a look see...

Keenan McCardell should be brought in.... even if only to ruffle feathers....
on the field he can bring that Vet leadership and prob intangible things like... I dunno, get position on a DB and make a play... who knows

Yeah, that was pretty dumb. As was Indy drafting Gonzalez in the first.

The Dolphins are in a rebuilding mode, with the draft picks that we have for next year, we should go after Jason Taylor. He would be similar to what we did in getting Charles Haley from the 49ers. A hungry veteran (last years defensive MVP. Imagine, Ware on one side, Jason on the other.

At this point in time I could probably live with that.

I thought I was the only one not seeing the brilliance in this move for SD.

I think AJ Smith is just desperate to save his sinking ship.

Yeah im all for getting taylor now. Chambers was going to go after this season for sure, but he went for a second. Miami wasn't going to settle for anything less than a first for taylor.

I'd love to see what Miami got. Basically, they just traded Brandon Lloyd to the Chargers. Rivers continues to falter, Smith has to do something, I guess.

Second rounder is what I read on another board. (Oops, and from miamicowboy just above.)

Why not trade for him now?

He wanted to be our team when we played him a few weeks ago LOL

Thanks. I am not even sure if I vaguely remember that happening

Not bad.

The one plus for SD is that there will be very little adjustment time for Chambers considering he's already in the Turner offense with the same calls. He can hop in, and go right back to being the mediocre receiver he's always been!

I am hearing that that they gave up a 2nd....if so that was incredibly stupid..especially since they would have to get through Pitt/Indy/NE to make it to the Super Bowl. I would not have wanted Dallas to do that either...but we can make it to the Super Bowl without him...but to win a Super Bowl we are going to need a healthy Glenn or a Chris Chambers type player...but not at the expense of a 2nd round pick
