You are embarrassing yourself. Teams that make it to the elite 8 are not ones that have no heart. They are usually teams that combine talent and heart to succeed. That is a fact. Suck it up, just because A&M lost a tough game doesn't mean you have to make stuff up about Texas having no heart.

By the way, Penn has a soild program. They have been for years. They just don't have access to the great talent.

Your own damn coach questioned his team's heart after the loss to OSU. Texas plays well when they have to, and they play down to their competetition's level when said opponent is inferior.

And then there's games like tonight, in which Texas just gets pounded by a much more athletic team.

Ever heard of a team playing up to their competition?? Teams like Texas, Duke, UNC, and UConn get every team's best shot. It's not that they're playing "Down to the competition." It's very hard to come out with your best game every night. And you keep bringing up games Texas almost lost. Almost lost...? In basketball the great teams are the teams who can come out and still pull out a win when they don't have their best games. Who cares if they almost lost??

On a lighter note, kind of, has anyone ever seen a worse Final Four?? Every game was basically won in the first 30 minutes of the game. None of the losing teams had a chance at the end of the game. These four teams played the best out of their brackets for 4 games, then everyone but Florida came out and laid an egg. The great thing about March madness is that any team can beat another on a given night. But when the big upset does happen, the chances of the underdog team sustaining that level of play aren't very good.
