CB Kelvin Joseph #1
DT Quinton Bohanna #95
Keeping fingers crossed they will improve and play much better as pros with the Cowboys, especially against very good opponents.

True. But can you find a college game his last college season where JJ Watt was shut down a whole game and only held to 1 or 2 good plays at the most...no matter the opponent?I can find games were JJ Watt in his prime looked bad. You play football long enough and it’s gonna happen to you.

You're either blind or saw another video.i watched that whole video and Bohanan was double teamed on virtually every single down. That’s exactly what we need a big sloppy guy, we don’t need him to be a pass rusher just keep our LBs clean. Also on every catch those Alabama WRs were making were on different DBs and LBs, I don’t see #1 Joseph in hardly any of those highlights. Not to mention anytime he guarded Smith he shut him down and picked him off on top of that. I’m really not even seeing this horrible game from them that you mentioned.
They both do have potential. Keeping fingers crossed they develop into very good players.Yes KJ had some bone headed plays but He held up pretty darn good against the Ala Offense. Was he a Revis? No but for a Rookie he shows some really good promise.
Bohanna pretty much did what he is/was suppose to do during the game clog it up take on DBBL teams and free up the LBs The problem seems like the DL wasnt putting the pressure on Mac, Again #95 was a ltr round pick but has some really good upside

1st play: Joseph totally whiffs as he dives at the incoming WR's ankles, instead of hitting him square in the chest, wrapping up and making the tackle.
Later in the video where Bama scored a passing TD inside the Kentucky 20: Joseph looked confused. He and his DB teammate allowed a Bama WR go untouched up the numbers for an easy catch and run into the end zone.
I never saw Bohanna put pressure once on the QB during the pass. I did see Bohanna have a few 1-on-1s where he got stuffed. Even saw him get pushed back a good 5+ yards on double teams during run plays.
I could go on, but you get my drift. Totally the opposite of what you "saw".
No excuse for refusing to hit, wrap and tackle a WR. You play Defense. That's your job. If you don't want to do it, move over to Offense. Eats me up to see any defender whiff by going straight down towards the ankles because they are scared to tackle. No excuse for that bro.bro you’re not making sense. You’re speaking as if Bohanan is a 3 technique when he’s not. He’s not Aaron Donald. He’s snacks Harrison. You’re not looking for him to pass rush, he’s most likely not going to even be on the field 3rd down and obvious passing situations. And again was Johnson terrible and a liability? The answer is no. Congrats you pointed out a few reps he didn’t win (like every other player who ever touched a football) it sounds to me like you went in with the expectation to “see unrealistic football” if you expected them to dominate every play.

As for Bohanna, clearly, he needs to get stronger. He's got the size. Didn't like seeing him get pushed around by Bama's Oline at times. Didn't even see him much during the 2nd half when the game was out of reach. I get it. He was drafted mainly to be a hole plugged during the run. Would love to see him develop into a 3 down NT/DT.
Hope they both improve since they do have talent.
Just curious, did you only watch this highlight film or did you watch the entire game play for play?No excuse for refusing to hit, wrap and tackle a WR. You play Defense. That's your job. This highlight and a condensed version of the game.Just curious, did you only watch this highlight film or did you watch the entire game play for play?
You know he isn't a pass rush guy, right?I never saw Bohanna put pressure once on the QB during the pass.
Clearly he is one of those that believe if you do not pressure the QB you are a complete waste of flesh. You know he isn't a pass rush guy, right?
