Our QB was a bigger problem than Dez last season

Us having no Backup LT who can hold a bag of Chips and the Best Player on Offense (Zeke) was more of the Problem than the QB. Just check Daks Numbers with Zeke on fit Tyron on the Field and without.

Still Dez didnt help Dak and 23 straight games without 100 Yards is not a coincidence, its a pattern. Dez was terrible when Dak played on MVP Level.

Yep and it is a problem when all of your receivers suck all of a sudden and it is usually 1 person causing that problem

Not sure I would redo T-Smith’s deal with his back might be best to start paying that one off. I’d offer Dez 7 mil plus 5 mil in incentives take it or cut.

Can someone update us on our cap situation, including the tagging of Lawerence...and show how much we can save by cutting Dez before and after June
dez being cut DORES NOT SAVE US ENOUGH, you realize we also have to replace him, that will take most of his savings bringing in another #1..so really him restructuring with smaller salary with incentives to earn it back is only way Dez can really help us this year..

sad to say i think we broke another kicker. we just hate good kickers.
im pretty sure we can blame this on Baily, he maybe a kicker but what athlete blows hammy so bad simply practice kicking into a net on the sideline..he most likely didn't stretch or warm up properly..than comes back and obviously was too early, yes simliar to Nick Folk..he should have stayed gone as his replacement wasn't horrible and maybe a few more games would have solved the issue..

If you are being realistic cutting him saves a ton of cap room. While it is true that you have to replace Dez' roster spot which will use up a portion of the cap savings how much is the subject of legitimate debate. We could go cheap and I'm not sure there would be that much drop off (if any). Even a mid round draft pick (2-4) might be a cheaper, more effective upgrade from Dez.

I love Witten but that is a big chunk. What is left on his deal?

Witt needs to go. These are easy decisions to make if you look at it objectively instead of emotionally or as a rosey eyed fan.

Yeah. Keeping Dez and Witten is like poking a few more holes in the ship just to make sure it sinks.
