Its telling when those like rockport and rambo are proud of just good enough to qualify and nothing more.
And additionally that you most assuredly are a quitter and miserable in your personal life for not adhering to their fan regulator standards. Theres a few more that also push this pom pow waving positivity as their skewed version of personal fanhood psycho babble.

These are Jerry's personal PR department reps.
Just settling for and marketing publicity nowadays and whose response to no Cowboy post season success sounds exactly like a canned Jones family member script being read on an annual basis.

Just sheep not to be taken seriously.

The fact that Jerry still trying to hold off Jimmy getting into the ring of honor until he has a super bowl to rub in his face is shameful. Jimmy is going to pass away before it happens at this rate. They both are.

Rambo loves to have a good team that is exciting and a contender. I don't dwell on negative nonsense and enjoy the games.

And now they have a shot at 12 wins for the third year in a row.
Yes, which would also mark the first time for 3 consecutive playoff appearances since 90’s championship teams . 1991-1996.. 6 straight

No one is disputing that this could be our best team this era but ultimately it will be measured by what they accomplish in the playoffs .

We shall see if they finally break down the door or the futility mark continues . But you must understand why the criticism will continue .

Much like we bragged to the world when we celebrated in our historic championship runs . As fans we must take the good with the bad. And this era compared to prior eras hasn’t been too good overall.

And that’s fine . There’s room for all types of fans .

But in a forum setting as such surely you understand why there are many fans who want to discuss and critique . All threads aren’t for everyone .

The criticism will definitely continue because the NFL is all about the playoffs. It renders a 12 win season useless when you can’t make any noise beyond wildcard weekend.

And as a result Jethro has brought less meaning to our Ring of Honor.

Jimmy made the HOF. And that’s all that really matters.

Winning a playoff game and losing by 1 score on the road after traveling from coast to coast on short rest is definitely making some noise.

It is a realistic possibility unfortunately. In August 1994, Jerry Jones said he would induct Tony Dorsett and Randy White into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. He did exactly what he said he would do two months later.

Jones had 27 years to induct Jimmy Johnson into the Ring before Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman cornered him on national television into publicly committing to doing so. 18 months have followed and Jones has not still done what he said he would do.

Huge egos eventually concede, even when they prefer not to. It happens often in life. Narcissism? That particular personality trait can sometimes be stubborn to the grave.

Coast to coast? lol There’s always an excuse here. They beat up on an 8-9 team then lost to the same team that bounced them last year at home in the same inept fashion. You might take pride in that? If they beat the Jaguar’s and Packers, they wouldn’t have to travel in the first place.

I wouldn’t say useless . 12 win playoff seasons is a success and you cant advance if you’re not in but cumulatively when it’s bound to an era of playoff futility by not culminating into at least a championship appearance then it becomes historically notable.

No one cares that they won 13 games way back in 2007. You just remember securing the #1 seed and then choking on it. A quality regular season is backed up by what they do beyond that.

No doubt and why ultimately the results in the playoffs are another measuring stick which has cumulated into this futility mark.

That’s said the fact we have made it to consecutive 12 win playoff seasons provides some foundation to build on and hopefully move forward with.

We shall see what those results provide . History always is a numbing experience as we can then go back access and analyze much like this futility mark has done .

what a weird statistic to care about. I mean not making a conference championship game since 1995, ok that's real and tangible

but consecutive playoff appearances without one? okay, would it be better had we missed the playoffs more often?

Would you rather not know these compilations?

This is what data can provide. Then it’s up to us to interpret and present narratives as such.

How many teams have made a conference title game since we last did?

Slice it anyway you want, Dallas is on a historically bad postseason run since Jerry basically made himself GM and the Jimmy teams were dismantled.
Good question.

In the NFC only Dallas, Det and Wash. And I believe in the AFC only Miami hasn’t . Cinn got off that list last year .
