Our futility is historic

the last time Mike Fisher felt threatened and uncomfortable was when we had the Tuna here holding folks accountable. Now the dude has an office across from Jerry at the star. How convenient.

Two 12 win seasons is nice, but losing to the same team twice is certainly a problem. Specially with how they went out at home last year. How happy were the fans with 12 wins when they were pelting the QB with garbage? lol That competence and fire and intensity and sense of urgency has to be there come playoff time… or it’s just more of the usual.
I agree but the fact we faced a better team must also be taken into consideration .

And that’s always going to be a problem.

Regardless how good of team we build there could be others who build a better team . Im not sure anyone thought Dallas should have advanced to the championship game as a 4th seed last year or 5th seed this year.

Sorry this is ridiculous. They choked away the 1 seed and were top tier in all 3 phases. Then lost to a 7th round rookie QB. Cowboys were the better team last year and still the same garbage excuses.

btw, Fisher makes it known he hates Bill Parcels and called him a bully. That tells me Bill was doing great things here.

and the very same team reporters that been entrenched here towing the line as per usual.

How did we choke away the 1st seed this year?

No one had us advancing . And last year most analysts picked SF over us. Their #1 defense and their offensive running game a very poor matchup for us .

I’m all for critiquing the results this era . But expecting a 4th or 5th to seed to advance is ridiculous. We have had some #1 seeds this era with higher expectations.

He gets money from the contracts, then they make money from the higher prices.
Interesting article from Forbes about stadium revenue lost from Covid.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeoz...ames-are-played-without-fans/?sh=f94b403691ad

The NFL would lose $5.5 billion of stadium revenue (the sum of tickets, concessions, sponsors, parking and team stores)—or 38% of its total revenue—based on figures for the 2018 season (ranking below). But the impact on the individual teams would vary greatly. For example, the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots would lose over half their total revenue

Beat the packers and the jags and they have the 1 seed. The better team didn’t win in either situation.

Gb, JAX. Major choke jobs.

The best team doesn’t always win. They call them upsets .

Jags turned out to be a hit team making a run to the playoffs and Packers were trying to make a run as well. That’s all part of the NFL.

Shoot, if Hurts didn’t go down it wouldnt have even been close. And we were fortunate to still be in it after Prescott went down.

Egirls were definitely best team in NFC .

That’s all part of he NFL, losing to playoff contenders in a hot streak . They both deserve some credit.

And if Hurts hadnt gone down it wouldn’t have been close anyway. The Egirls definitely best team in NFC this year.

It amazes me anyone thought this Cowboys team was a serious SB contender even with NFC down .

That said it was probably more winnable than it has been in previous seasons . But SF and Phil definitely sounder teams than we were.

That's what the kool-aid drinkers keep quoting.
Some seem to forget the Lombardi is the goal, not regular season participation trophies.
Exactly.
They are my favorite posters, those who stand behind those regular season wins banners.

It's almost as if ya wanna ask 'em if they are on Jerry's PR payroll department.

Cuz with sheep like these, it's no wonder how such a compromised non winning product can continue selling to these hypnotized masses.

As thought it were a trance like Master Jerry seance command. "Repeat after me...
