I think at the end of the day there will be 3 QB taken the first 15 picks. Goff, Lynch and Wentz. I would trade back as far as 10, provided that that the eagles don't jump up and I think we can get one of the 3. The Eagles are at 13 and I don't think they will move to far up given their recent history of failed moves. If you want one of those three, then take him at 4, over valued IMO, or trade back, maybe the Bucs want to jump up and get the WR to go with Winston and take him at 9. No way this kid makes it to 34, I just don't see it.

Sideline reporter said Wentz moving up quickly, possibly into 1st round after this.

Would be great to get this guy but I don't see it happening.

Would have to be a trade down and taking him in the teens.

He will NOT be there at the top of the 2nd.

These guys always rise late. Ponder, Gabbert etc were not projected as high as they went this far out.

I'll be surprised if he goes that high.
I'm thinking he goes between 25-55 range, but we'll see.
Maybe someone can look it up, but I can't recall a sub-division QB getting picked in the 1st round in the last 25 years. probably forgetting someone though.

Don't worry about us using the 4th on him...no chance.
But we could gamble and use our high 2nd rounder IF they like him that much.

Just thought of one....isn't Delaware at that same level?
if so, then Flacco wasn't that long ago.

Wentz will go in the top 15 imo. Small school, but has the measurables coaches dream about. Size, arm strength/accuracy and mobility.

That would surprise me....or not

Didn't McNair go in the first?

He won't imho. Too many QB-needy teams. At worst I think the Cardinals would take him at the end of the 1st as they're reportedly really evaluating the QB's this class so they can groom one behind the aging Carson Palmer for a couple years. Wentz is exactly what Bruce Arians likes in a QB. Big, strong arm, athletic, etc.
He won't be there when the Cardinals pick they may draft a QB but it won't be Wentz.

This is a knee-jerk reaction to me.

Watch Wentz end up in Philly at pick #13.
Trust when I say he won't last until the Eagles pick at 13, the only way Philly can draft him is to trade up in the draft and I don't think Joe Banner will take such a risk.

Carson Wentz of SDSU is a QB god and if the Cowboys don't find a way to get this kid, they will not sniff
the SB for another decade. Someone is going to get the next top franchise QB and it better be the Cowboys.
Jerry, don't pass this up dude!!!
