Our highest paid players are not very good

Witten, God love him, is still serviceable but needs to be on a PT basis now. Lots of drops and blocking has faltered.

Oscan has really gotten bad.

Dez, 17 million, for bad routes and what else? A good practice player?

Crawford? Just a rotational normal player.

Twill, hands of stone and a #3 WR.

Lee is still awesome when available.

Tyron worries me. Nick Perry was blowing past him with a club yesterday because of that back.

None of these players outside of Tyron, Lee, and TFred are elite. Thank goodness for Dak and Zeke.

mr Aven8--- i have a feeling many of these contracts will be evaluated next off season

Hallmarks of Dez haters:

1) Remove all context; provide statistics dating back of course to only 2015 but don't acknowledge games missed due to injury, games he played injured when he was clearly not close to 100 percent AND they make no mention of the fact he played with the likes of Weeden, Cassell and Moore.

2) Refuse to acknowledge Dez is utilized differently than guys like Witten and Beasley who run high percentage underneat routes.

3) Wait eagerly for anything resembling failure by Dez to cheer and crow about.

i still got my money on Dez....season is not over yet

Add to the list Frederick. And soon to be paid Martin. I give TSmith a pass because the guy is always dealing with back stuff. He needs the off time.

mr PJ--- i have a good feeling TSmith does have surgery to repair disk next off season that he should have had this off season...but i aint no doctor

Dez is overrated and overpaid but they'd be screwed without him. He at least still draws one of the other team's top guys. He is probably somewhere around the 20-25th best WR in the league, so a crappy #1.

dear sir--maybe let us wait out more of this season before we toss Dez under the bus....would not be first time that a QB and Receiver found their connection as season progressed?

How people keep talking about the offense is beyond me lol.....I don't care how much these guys get paid....that's Jerry's money. Some of these guys aren't playing bad they just aren't being put in positions to excel. Tyrone Crawford is a 3tech.....he's not a defensive end. Dez Bryant needs more plays from the slot......Scandrick is a nickel corner.......Tyron and Sean Lee are hurt and that won't change......Witten needs to be replaced.....

I respect Witten the player but this offense is being limited with him out there. We have speed at tight end and we need to use it. Whether its Swaim or Hanna.

People forget how bad the Dez and Romo connection was at one point.

I'm shocked people are still talking about Dez......I thought he and Dak have looked better here past two weeks and the connection is getting better....but its easy to complain about Dez even when Witten looks like he does, Sean Lee is always hurt, Heath is terrible and Nolan Carroll is still on the roster........

Don't hate Dez at all. He just isn't what he was. He's a ROH guy and wore 88 up to the legends. He just gave his body to the cowboys and there isn't much left to give.

Twill is the least of our problems. I believe the original poster @Aven8 is more concerned with the top 3 guys. Others are an issue too, but twill is low on my own personal list

But as always I respect your opinion, we just disagree.

That Witten 12.2 million cap hit is painful. Dez Bryant's 17 million is quite frankly ridiculous for his projected output. TCraw at 10 million.

And 4) Complain about his cap numbers. Because they’re the ones writing the check.

Dez isn't overpaid, he's paid market value. If you don't want to pay you get guys like Butler.

Terrance is making less here than he would have in FA.

I'll agree with Crawford, I'd be surprised if he had this same contract next year unless he goes crazy down the stretch.

Scandrick is only making 3 mill. I doubt you're going to find better for that price. DBs get paid.

Good thing is, we'll have a good amount of cap to overpay some other guys this off-season so these won't look near as bad.

Well, was at the game, so no.

He's the most targeted WR in the league, of course he's our leading WR, that's not saying much. He's a bum and could easily be replaced by a number of rookies.
Ha. Grass isn't always greener in the what have you done for me lately side.

This receiving group would be a mess without Dez occupying defenders. Then you'd turn your wrath on a guy like Beasley.

These coaches are probably scared of st. Witt but less is more needs to be explained to him
Oscan has really gotten bad.

One of the great con jobs in American history
Crawford? Just a rotational normal player.

I was a Crawford guy. He played really well in 2014.Big heart, but might be done.
Twill, hands of stone and a #3 WR.
Im a fan. Calculate the three games last year without Dez and it comes out to a 1,008 yard season.

I think we would all live with that. Not the sharpest but undervalued in Dallas. If Bryant goes down, you will see a much better connection with Dak than Bryant will ever have.
Tyron worries me. Nick Perry was blowing past him with a club yesterday because of that bac
me too. Time to get in the LT market. 3rd-6th round. Develop one while Smith is still here.

Yes sir. I feel bad. I think that dez isn't used right and that his numbers could be better if the motioned him more and he ran more slants ect.

So I believe a percentage of his production issues can be attributed to the offensive scheme. Although people could counter that the scheme was pretty much the same with Tony but yet his numbers where better. But then I'd have to say that maybe it was preinjury? But then they would say....well how long is it gonna take him to get back to where he was 3years?

Alas. Such a lose lose situation
How long will it take for Dak to learn how to throw an endzone fade?
