Our Offensive Line is Terrible

I still say that last year he was a quality QB considering the OT's we had playing by the end of the year. Something happened to him- he seemed to lose it all at once. Even in pre season this year he was looking pretty good.

If we had gotten last years Bledsoe this year, or even if he played like he did in preseason, he'd still be the starter. The Oline played well enough for him to be successful, even for Drew, he just absolutely lost it.

I think Parcells grumbling to start Romo from the start made Bledsoe nervous.
Aikman said during the game last night that Bledsoe told him... he was afraid if he was injured he would lose his job.

Bledsoe new what we had in Romo.:D

Some of us said that Drew Bledsoe was an "offensive line killer". Some believed and some didn't.

Ain't that the truth.

The same place the 'Parcell's doesn't develop young QBS' threads.

The same place the 'Parcell's brings in too many of his players' threads.

The same place the 'Parcell's brings in too many LBers'(and TE) threads.

The same place the 'our WRs are too old' threads.

Hopefully, all this chicken little garb is gone for good, and everyone can lighten up and enjoy the building process. I have been, and it's been a hoot! Nothing more exciting than seeing it finally all come together.

Redemption is sweet.

Honestly, until Romo this team gave me nothing to be excited about. Oh sure there were individual plays every now and then that were cool, but this team was headed nowhere.

Enter Romo into the equation and now I have something to be excited about. Romo is making everyone around him better and that is a fact.

Where are all those "terrible offensive line" threads now? Just thought I would ask.

what a stupid question. if bledsoe was back there we'd still be harping on the line. are you saying the line was never playing poorly or was up to the task of bledsoe being the qb?

great - we're winning. but let's not get all stupid and pretend *real* problems were never real and don't need to be addressed.

my entire point in all my line bashing was that parcells did NOT go out and get a drew-proof line for a QB he FREAKING KNEW would need one.

that was, *and still is* butt-nugget stupid.

with romo we still need to address the line - but he doesn't need a perfect line like bledsoe does, so it just appears to be a "better" line. in some ways, maybe it is. but let's not think it's "fixed" now.
