Got news for you. YES IT IS!!!!! Anyone that doesn't see this as a MUST win just doesn't understand how much confidence comes in to play when it comes to sports. If we lose today are we mathematically eliminated from the playoffs? No. We could still go 11-5 and could still win the division. However, we lose today and I think this team is done. I think it will destroy the psyche of the team, which I think is fragile anyway. If this team can't step up in a game this important, at home nonetheless, why should we think they'll get on a roll and finish the season strong? Why? When do you guys think this team needs to bow up and show something? I'll tell you when. Today.

While they can lose today and still be in contention,I think today is a must win.They failed to win a game in Philly last year to make the playoffs.They failed to notch a win in either Green Bay or New York this year to establish themselves as contenders.Anyway, a loss today doesn't end the playoff dream but a loss would make that dream more unlikely.How much faith do you have that this team can lose today and then win 2 out of 3 ?

Got news for you too.

jk = just kidding

The Cowboys will win if our defense shows up like it did against Washington.

Boy, I wish I could dial up that defense every week.

GO COWBOYS!

Well I guess it depends on highly your opinion is of the Packers, Giants and Eagles. I for one think they all will lose 2 more games atleast.

Well if the Packers and Eagles lose two, they'd both be 10-6, at that point it comes down to what we do vs Philly. GB we already lose a tie breaker to at 10-6

If the Giants win 3 of 4 and finish 10-6, we dont win a tie breaker with them either.

I agree with this assessment. This is probably the biggest December game of Romo's career and it is against a quality opponent. If they lose the game, it is possible to rectify the situation, and win the next three after this one, but the possibility of that is slim, due to a lack of confidence that will certainly affect the player mentality because the credibility of the notion that they can't win in December will become reinforced, and therefore continuously seem more viable.

Anybody of the opinion that this team needs to win the division? Just looking at some of the possible tiebreakers that could put Dallas on the outside looking in.

The Cowboys lose today their season is pretty much over because they have very little chance of rebounding against the Saints next Saturday. A 3 game slide would signify another December collapse.

I think that the division winner and also last playoff spot will come down to the last game of the season again against Philly. Fortunately, that one will be at home unlike last year.

Yeah, probably much more likely we win the division than make it as a wildcard.

that goes as much for the coaches as the players...Wade came up with a lousy game plan vs the Giants defensively last week and the defense underperformed.
