Outside of Prescott, do you feel we outplayed the 49ers?

Hell yes. Ceedee went off. We had almost 100 yards rushing. The defense balled. Maher made his field goals. The special teams gave us a turnover and Turpin gave us good field position multiple times. Dak was horrible and lost the team the game. It's all on him and Kellen Moore.
We had 76 yards rushing combined.

Defense got two takeaways, their running game got going in the end, their QB didn't make a lot of mistakes. They played better. It was a hard fought game though.
The team seemed stale after the half.

I put no! I watched the game. I think it was very evenly matched teams. Both Ds stepped up. Kind of hard to take Dak out of the equation because it affects how the teams play and strategy. Overall I thought it could go either way.

I agree. Outplayed them? No.

Here's why: their play calling strategy changed with the lead and clock situation.@ 19-12 after forcing the 1st punt @ the 7(?) min mark. But similarly to the 1st Eagles contest. We didnt get the needed stops until almost too late. They may have pushed harder for more if tied.

Played them dead even? Yes.

They were gifted almost 13 of their 19 points. The penalty aided Kittle drive should have been another FG attempt.

-4 points removed
-3 Dak's RZ int
‐3 Dak's Own RZ int

Their own mistake gave us 3...

Dead even basically.

Defensively felt like we went toe to toe.

Offensively, no. They had more than 1 player actually step up and make plays.
I disagree. Players can't step up and make plays if Dak won't actually throw to them. There were several open a LOT and Dak zeroed in on two players only.

Anyone who says no didn't watch the game.
no, our WRs and TEs didnt play well also ( except Cee Dee) OL couldnt open any holes for run game ,but main issue was Prescott and the deer in the headlights mental game

We dogged walked them physically. We punished and pushed them around like they did to us last season. Until the defense wore down due to Dak’s inability to sustain drives consistently and score.

Lmao! We couldn't run the football at all, the Defense got run and passed over the whole second half, and we pretty much had no kicking game. Our receivers struggled as well. That's not including both the Offensive and Defensive playcalling. Yeah, Dak was the only problem.

No SF won 3rd down both sides. Mid 3rd quarter on their OLine wore down our DLine.

Close game but I have to give the edge to the 49ers. They won the time of possession, they also were better on 3rd downs then us. Oh and they scored more points.

.....lets say, we hung in there all the way.

Prescott Or KM were reasons, we're sitting on sofa again.

Mainly, Dak.

We won in two phases. You could tell Deebo and CMC were frustrated as hell. ST’s had 120 return yards, two FG’s, and a forced fumble. We had our chances and the O couldn’t deliver. First and goal FG. 2nd and 2 in red zone INT. 2:59 left and for the ball to tie it. Gained nada punt. Looked a lot like last year against SF on offense actually

The defense may have played better the second half if they would have had any help from the offense. It has to be deflating to play like that and know it's all for nothing. Once Pollard went down I knew the game was over. Even with that the defense only gave up 19 points and 3 of those was on a Dak interception.

Absolutely!

All Dak had to do was not turn the ball over and we win, thats it, just dont turn the ball over.

And, of course, Dak just couldnt do it.

I hate to say it, but its time to move on from Dak, the dude is just a liability now.

FWIW, before the D got worn down and couldn’t stop the run late Dallas equaled SF physically for most of the game, pleasant surprise if you’re looking for a bright spot I guess

Really a wash. Messr Parsons is correct...the defense did their part.

Go Cowboys!
That's exactly it. A yes or no answer doesn't quite work. We outplayed them on defense, and they beat us in other areas. Our running game was working pretty well until Pollard got hurt.

I don't know if we outplayed them, but Dallas is the better team and lost.

Both defenses were on their game. Purdy was Purdy, played within himself and didn't make mistakes. Dak is capable of looking like a stud, but is inconsistent, and this was one of his off games. Pollard injury was big.
