And that's the thing. We know what we have in Rush. I'd like to know what we got for a 4th. If he's actually good, maybe he ends up being worth keeping it ends up returning a good comp pick.
We will see lance at some point in this season.
Unless rush has a win streak or looks real good.

It depends upon the context and the semantics of “NFL throw”. Since that was not defined, an assumption was made that the term referred to all the various throws NFL QBs can make, typically with reference to arm strength. That is what people mean when they say such and such can make all the “NFL throws”. They aren’t presuming anything about accuracy one way or the other, because if they can make the throws then they usually are accurate with them, some QBs more so than others.
lol, something tells me nobody is interested in arguing semantics with you over Lance.

We know he struggles making NFL caliber throws on a regular, we get that. What we're overlooking is the fact that when he takes off and runs, he makes nice gains. I think this can really get fan excitement boosted when he does this, and will give our offense a much needed spark. Please give your thoughts
NFL Defenses can easily take that away if they aren't afraid of a QB's passing. Need both.

The problem is MM offense is made for drop back passers. Lance needs to play in an RPO type college system like Washington and Philadelphia. I hope the Cowboys are smart enough to have a package for the kid. I have my doubts.
And there lies the problem. Coaching. Play design.
If Trey Lance came in this weekend and played against the Eagles his numbers would look like. 8 Rushes for 12 yards and 11-31 for 90 yards and 3 picks....and i believe that
What makes you think he can't run on the Eagle defense? All it takes is athleticism to run as a QB. There's tons of room out there. Our regular guy just won't/can't do it.

For some reason NFL teams have always had issues with quarterbacks that run. I for one believe the Ravens when the Super Bowl if they didn’t decide to turn Lamar into a drop back quarterback against KC in AFC championship game.

A run package with Lance would work. Just like when Hoiuston almost beat us a few years ago when the kept switching quarterbacks.

Because the making all the NFL throws minus the accuracy bit. Hell of a take.
Are QBs 100% accurate? Do scouts have reports where they say a QB can make all the throws but he needs to improve upon his accuracy?

If you’ve never seen such, then you’ve never read any. It seems to me that you’re just being contentious for the sake of it.

If you were going to convert a player from another position to play QB, I am pretty sure the first two things you would work on is their foot work and their throwing motion.

Oddly, that is the same thing Trance is working on.
