Overshown shown here rehabbing

You brought up Burrow just to use the next sentence to show why he's a bad example to use?

A pocket passer QB compared to a LB whose style relies heavily on playing fast makes this injury completely different in football terms.
For Overshown it will be a longer process, but not as impossible as you're trying to make it seem.

It’s just realistic.

You can’t expect anyone to come back strong from this stuff.
We all hope for the miracle but you are unfortunately probably correct. Two major knee injuries in back to back seasons for a player who relies on speed and quick lateral movement has a very high chance of never being the same player he was.

Maybe. Or maybe he'll be one of those players who leaves us flabbergasted, that he could come back as good as ever, like Adrian Peterson.
I wouldn’t bet on it. This will likely be the second full season Overshown will miss in his three seasons due to serious knee injuries. Not only will it be very difficult returning to the form he was showing but his development is being stunted because of all the missed games. He’s injury prone. He’s Sean Lee all over again. He can’t be counted on.

He has the most important asset on his side. YOUTH. He might not be what he was, but he will give us an edge and attitude. He's a good kid also.
