Owens out of game plan...

Enough said.

Inquirer does not equal Enquirer.

The Philadelphia Inquirer is a legit newspaper and has racked up 18 Pulitzers over the years. It's not a tabloid.

Apparently today it is.

That doesn't make sense anyways. If Parcells wanted to avoid "problems" he would get T.O. the ball, not the opposite.

Well, I did a little research and I think I've found the problem: this quote is from a Stephen A. Smith article.

Since Smith knows as much about football as the paperweight on my desk, I think you guys can disregard this.

Stephen A. Smith twice insisted that a team who attempts and misses a FG on 3rd down can try it again on 4th. Twice.

Apparently that's not the case. It's based on speculation and it doesn't make any sense given the amount of times they threw the ball towards Owens.

Seriously, what do you call a paper that reports speculation as fact when it doesn't make any possible sense to begin with?

It's like Jeremiah Trotter saying that they never had more that 7 in the box for the entire game. It's a complete lie, but some people keep eating it up.

No kidding.

And if Screamin' A, really did hear this, it could have been from Owens himself. The two were supposedly tight back in Philly.

Yeah anything with Screamin A Smith's name attached to it I immediately ignore.

And to think ESPN got rid of David Aldridge for him.

Let's hope that is the case, or our QB is impossibly bad and our HC can't utilize players/draw a gameplan to save his life against good teams. Though sadly, two things I sometimes feel are true, and had so long before TO ever hit the scene.
