I honestly felt if Favre stayed in the game, Dallas may win by 30 points. He was god awful and was lucky to not be picked off three times instead of two times.

As far as injuries go, Dallas is still w/o Terry Glenn and a gimpy Henry and Newman got banged up last night as well.

I think the sentiment going around Green Bay and their fans(and even in Brett Favre's mind) is....

"Oh man... not the Cowboys again" :D

Brett said it himself when asked about THIS Cowboys teams "they are playing as well if not better than the teams of the 90's"

The packers without a healthy Farve are probably still the 2nd best team in the NFC. The problem for green bay is that our OL has shown that they can dominate them and that even with a 100% c woodson, they have no answer for our recieving corps. We were clearly the dominant team physically, and if we meet again... we will remind them of that fact early and often.
and not many packers fans will admit this...even with KGB, i still like the Dallas o-line...Dallas left a lot of points on that field, but fans see what they want to see when trying to cope with a loss of this magnitude...after facing the blitz happy NFC East, there is nothing the big guys upfront have'nt seen...bottom line is GB could'nt stop them...and the secondary they have this year is all they have...yes woodson makes a difference but no secondary can cover for the time Romo had to throw the ball...the only possible difference maker would have been KGB...and i'll take the Dallas secondary over GB thank you...

Favre is indubitably a significant reason why this team is 10-2

this game provided empirical evidence that he can carry the load.

to deny that KGB’s and Woodson’s absences were not prevalent is simply fatuous.

Many on this board assumed that Al Harris would marginalize T.O.

Regardless of what he does, I feel this moment is evident; incredibly palpable.

This may be entirely superfluous, but the offensive game planning seemed to shift away from what they have been doing so well lately.

Uhhh...I always thought Packer fans were jolly, blue-collar "everymen." I had no idea Stephen Hawking bled green and gold...

I am no Packer fan... but do they have to resort to namecalling of their own players...... no need to call KGB "fat" :laugh2:

My thoughts are just a suggestion to the packer fan who wrote this.

You might want to try letting it marinate before the digesting part....

LOL!!!!!!!!

Depends on what you want it to marinate in. :laugh2:

Myself, I'm certainly glad for the win. Helps our home field chances as we try to make the Super Bowl.

But it means absolutely nothing to me regarding bragging rights and I'd have said the same had we lost.

It all comes down to what happens the next time we play assuming both teams hold serve.

Remember the last drive of the 1st half and first drive of the 2nd half:

Romo totally missed TO whne he was wide-open on 3rd down, forcing them to punt. Dallas was driving the field with ease.

Romo missed Witten, who was around the 10 yard line, and would have scored.

This game should have been a blow-out...

I think Wade Phillips should publicly apologize for having the nerve to win this game.

OK.. so they were sandbagging? Running a Vanilla scheme?

I seem to remember at least 1 flee flicker and an onside kick. The only time you run those plays is when you are unable to get your offense going against a superior team. Trick plays are gimics!

The packers offense has no balls for running those 5 reciever sets every down.

My opinions are as follows:

1. The Cowboys could of hung 50 on the Packers D if they wanted to.

2. The Cowboys defense changed after Farve left the game.

3. The Packers weren't the only ones to suffer from questionable calls.

4. Both teams had some key injuries.

They were pretty resolved during the game last night. Also, who gives an F what anyone thinks on a damn message board? :)

Dallas needs to win 3 of the next four to wrap up homefield because the Packers have a cakewalk schedule and probably won't lose again in the regular season.

Green Bay plays: Raiders, @Rams, @Bears, Lions.
Aaron Rodgers could probably beat these teams.

Dallas plays: @Lions, Eagles, @Panthers, @Commanders

Well, we know Brett Favre didn't beat one of them.

Oh, and I think those Packers fans need to learn the NFL rulebook.
