For that call to make sense, they have to be saying that he could have thrown it out the back of the end zone, or spiked it in celebration as he was falling down. And it would be marked at the one because it was dead when he took possession.My question is how is it considered possession if he is in the air? Possession is supposed to equal two feet on the ground and control just like a reception or a fumble recovery.
