Packers/Eagles Game

Could you please spare me the sensitive fan thing of no way of knowing?

It is my opinion that the Cowboys would have gotten smoked playing in Green Bay today.

Vegas would have given the Cowboys 7 plus points. The Packers would have covered.

It's your opinion. If you put out an opinion on a football forum then don't be surprised if someone asks you how you derived your opinion. Since you can't predict the future any better than anyone else then you don't know what would happen. If you state it as fact...which IMO you did....then you may get called on it. Or you may just politely be asked to provide the basis for your assertion.

If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen buddy boy. And don't deflect from the conversation by ad hominem attacks either.

Eagles gettin an *** whuppin. But Rodgers needs to get popped for smirking all game. Gotta have some pride here.

Classy.

I'd link it, but there's a swear word in there that might radically alter the future of one of our offspring should they see it.

I would have called it a touchback. But their explanation is acceptable IF he reestablished himself on the field of play.
The ball won't be spotted at the one if the player's momentum carries him into the end zone with the ball. Either the play was ruled incorrectly on the field, or players should be coached to throw the ball out of the back of the end zone in that situation.

Here's the rule IOWs: If a player on the kicking team catches or recovers a scrimmage kick that has crossed the neutral zone, the ball becomes dead.

If he has possession it wouldn't matter where he fell. Once he has possession then the play is over. He doesn't have to stay on his feet to have possession.

So how would you rank the NFC teams? The Cardinals have to be #1. I'd say Packers 2, Lions 3 and the Cowboys and Eagles fighting for the 4 spot.

He'll apologize tomorrow and claim that that's not what he meant and everyone took it the wrong way.

Oh and he still thinks they are better than Dallas. Gotta love it.

He made the statement on Friday that a Chip Kelly led team will be in every game. They won't get blown out.

The Broncos blew them out last year and now the Packers today.

I don't think that's how it's supposed to work. If so, we'd see players on the punt unit treating it like a pass reception, where they just had to make sure of possession before falling into the end zone. There would be no reason to try to keep the ball out of the end zone, if all you had to do was possess it before it crossed the goal line.

I am in my glory.....LOVE the Eagles getting blown out!!!!

I think that's fair. I'm anxious to see what happens to Detroit, though, particularly with the New England matchup on the horizon. I think they could be a tam with the arrow pointing downward.
