I'd like us to do that from time to time. Dumb that we don't.

You think the Cowboys could get away with pick plays? We've been flagged for unintentionally doing it. We're not the Packers or the Pats.

Stafford tries that patented Rodgers 'quick snap' to try to catch the defense while subbing with 12 on the field. The refs just laugh at him, refuse to move off the ball so the Lions can quick snap it.

Uh it's been illegal to go intentionally helmet-to-helmet for over a decade now. You didn't get the memo?

Me and all the refs in the league apparently. Runners get stopped and banged in the head every single game. I've seen the crown of the helmet hits called,,,

Packers have good coaching. Jordy gets an easy td. Dez can't run that route? Smh. Packers are all about gimmicks, we should take note

It seems to me that Patriots and Packers, more than any other teams, pull every possible trick out of the bag, every junk yard dog borderline penalty but it's not a penalty, type of plays to get themselves easy 1st downs and TDs.

does NOT matter if you 'launch' yourself on an intentional helmet-to-helmet strike.

Helmet to Helmet is only illegal on defenseless players (and QBs). Turns out he was (I think) since he was in the grasp of another player and his progress was stopped (though no whistle yet, and he was still fighting).

Yes it does and who says it was intentional....... people are moving

The runner was stopped and held in the grasp. Trevanthan had plenty of time to see that, came in and lowered his head. He knew exactly where he was aiming.

I have seen it called a dozen times....... the player was a runner and not defenseless or protected

His forward progress was stopped...or it could be argued it was. He was still fighting, and if the hit hadn't come, it's possible he breaks free or begins to get a push since he was only engaged with one person and wasn't losing ground. However, he wasn't going forward for several steps.
