Hilarious to me how some people act like Pacman's more of a detriment on the field than an asset. His punt returns have been a major disappointment, but he's been one of our better CBs on Sundays.

He's easily an upgrade over Mike Jenkins or Alan Ball... in fact, you could easily make the argument that he's been one of our top 3 CBs this year (along with Newman and Scandrick).

Pac's return is great news... now if we could just get Montrae Holland back.

an upgrade over Jenkins? no

upgrade over Ball? definitely

hey theogt, is ball injured or is he just the odd man out?

He has really been playing well on special teams and newman always says he is going to be a very good corner...I would think they would find a way for him to be active because of special teams.

I havent had time to listen to the pc yet today, so let me know.

Wade said he has a sprained ankle and didn't practice. Didn't hear anything about if that is whats keeping him out or not though.

I agree Pac has been very solid as a CB, better than I thought. I thought Jenkins played a solid game Sunday which was nice to see. Even though PacMan has been disappointing on special teams I still think he will return a punt at some point this year for a TD(just a gut feel)

from what i seen fom Ball this year there's not that much of an upgrade with this years version of the Pacman. Ball's been a pleasant surprise while the Pacman's been a huge dissapointment. I'm glad he's back since he adds depth, but no way you can count on him for the long haul. First he was rusty, then when he was hitting his stride he gets suspended, and then he gets hurt in his first game back. I'll welcome him back but use him only if absolutely needed. the defense is playing lights out without him. i rather go with our young guys than give this guy more PT

Jones was pulled from the pile awkwardly by a Steelers player

That should have been a 15 yd penalty.

make what you want of this, but that is the only hotel they dont give the information out to, they always list it as TBD.

lol

Ask maxsports though, they will be there and they know the hotel.

OK, 3 things.

# 1: Jones muffed that punt but he made damn sure no matter what he wasn't giving up the turnover and literally risked his neck to do so. Argue that and you're just hating.

# 2: This team tells you it is a "minor injury" and start looking for the IR pages.

This team says buddy is most likely dealing with a "season ending" and highly probable "career threatening" injury, look a week and a half away with no emotion because he's playing. This could be the swing of the teams medical staff's judement, or Adam is just insecure he'll get cut by season's end because he was more harm than good results, or the guy is actually letting his thug grimey side put all the chips on the tables to help this team when it needs to peak at the best possible time to do so before the playoffs, if we get there!

# 3: Unless you are desperate for special teams returns because you feel that will be the difference in the game, even though Pacman hasn't done squat there this season, why put him in? Let the man recover! It's not like we are dealing with a team absolutely deep in receiving threats. Another week of rest and healing might do him even better. Then again, maybe he is that hungry to play and is tired of missing games.

Regardless, maybe the team is using the media again, don't be naive they do, but if your neck and spine are suspect and you ave to deal with this size to speed ratio in this league, what do you do? Adam Jones decided to ride and his rough up bringing and living, that hurts him 80% of the time, makes this an easy decision for him. He wants to play in this league, he cares about this team.

I want to see nothing but success for Adam this game. I wish him exceptional health first and produtction second.

Some of the sentences are long and probably bad grammar but the meaning makes sense and I'm hammered anyways!

Yes Sir. But you get guys on this board saying otherwise. They of course are the suspect, closet opponents fans during the week we play them. But they try to argue and say we're "biased" the rare time we talk about should be penalties around here.
