If Dallas gets Jones, they had better prepare as though they might not have him because at any possible second they just might not.

Getting Jones should do nothing to the cowboys draft plans as of right now.

You're much smarter than your name suggests...;)

whether we get mcfadden...imo
the more i think about it, the more i think that, if we get pacman we will move up for mcfadden. 3 main needs are CB, RB, and WR. we can get top 10 pic talent in CB and RB, and get a WR in the second, as all the WR in this draft are roughly 2nd round talent. there will be some drafted in the first, but none that deserve to be.

i'm posting this to get yalls thoughts on it, am i crazy?

I agree with this 110 percent, as a matter-of-fact I thought the same.

Go Cowboys!

I think for most of them, they don't want to grasp it because then they would have to let go of that dream they have had a death-grip on for the last year.

it's the mcfadden sleeper hold! it's on tight and they're fading...they're fading...BUT WAIT - the roy williams receiver from detroit not the ragged on safety for the cowboys jumps in the ring and gives the mcfadden hold a dusty!!!!!

Cason is on the outside waiting to tag in pacman who has the only wrestling experience of anyone out here now! together this possible combination is out to kill the mcfadden hold once and for all and they don't mind teaming up with logic to do it!

because moving up to get him will take both our 1sts and probably next years also. 3 picks - you lose 3 potential starters cause you're "superstar" hungry.

no it wouldnt, but if it did I wouldnt make the move either

and i still believe we go high on CB cause taking 1 gamble on pacman is iffy, taking 2 is stupid. cover your bases just the same and address an obvious position of need vs. a shiney one of want.

and as I've said all along, if they think they have to "cover" themselves in case Adams screws up, why even both to do the move? They will draft another CB if they trade for Jones, I just dont thnik it'll be in the first rd

so dont do the deal...if they dont have a pretty fair idea that he is going to help, why even make the move?

sure it should...if you get him you create potential options

then you tell me what it will take to go from 22 and 28 to the top 5 cause as far as i know what we have won't get there and is also pulling double duty being spent in reality on a vet WR.

I dont want to move into the top-5 to get him...I'm hoping the Raiders pass on him (even though I know they probably wont)...if so, we have a legit chance to move up at 6, 7 or 8 if falls into those slots.

I honestly think everyone is getting all huffy puffy over nothing though, as I just cant see the Raiders (or the Jets at 6 if he gets there) passing on him

ok. i was getting huffy over things cause i thought you were wanting to trade up to get him, not going the free-fall route.

like i said - all price tags being equal, he's the pick sure. but all price tags are not equal.

understand you now - thanks.

Certifiable.

Pacman has nothing whatsoever to do with the price it would cost to acquire McFadden. No matter how twisted the logic.

Our #22 and a 3rd for Boldin or Williams is more likely than us getting into position to get McFadden without giving up at least three of our top four picks this year. IMO.

It's not like you have any more clue as to what the asking prices are going to be come draft say than anyone else. We dont' even know where these players are on team's draft boards. Those stupid value charts are essentially garbage...see where I'm going here?

So, you can cry about people that disagree with you to your hearts' content, and I'll just sit back and watch.

I would rather trade our 2nd and 3rd round picks instead of a 1st and 3rd for Boldin or RW.

But I agree with you, all we can do is sit back and see what happens. I think if we trade for a WR, than a trade up is possible, if we don't trade for a WR, we will probably keep our two 1st round picks. Either way, we will all be sitting on the edge of our seats till McFadden is taken. And just imagine how quiet it will get if we hear "it looks like a team is trying to trade up". A little more than a month away.

My friend's sister's boyfriend's father's garbage man told me, and he's really trustworthy, he doesn't go through anyone's trash. The funny thing is, he looks a lot like Chris Mortensen.

I would like to have McFadden, but I would rather have Talib/F. Jones/Barber over Barber/McFadden. And I actually think the WOW player will be a receiver, either Boldin or RW (outside chance of CJ).

A lot of people also liked Julius Jones + Marcus Spears over Stephen Jackson as well;)

Yes, you're crazy, cause you think you're going to be picking again in Round 2. I don't know why it is so hard for people to understand this but you are NOT getting into the top 4 for just the 22 and 28 picks. It will take at the very least 3 picks (and quite likely whoever is in that top 4 working with you is going to want that third pick to be your second rounder.
