Yeah I know what Jerry said about TO. Everyone knows that isn't the whole truth, or even close to it. He was convinced to cut him because it's believed it's whats best for the team, for the young players as part of it of course, but also because of all the drama that comes with having him on the team, even the drama that he isn't part of starting, it just comes with him being him.

If it was just about younger players then Jerry wouldn't have done it when TO has proven he can still produce big plays for a team.

Owens, Jones, Tank are guys who are gone, and won't be back, cause of the belief that getting them out of the locker room will improve the team chemistry and help the team be more of, well just that, a team.

Like I said before, Jerry Jones, per an article, reported that it wasn't part of his re-instatement policy. Who are these multiple sources?
You'll have to show me that article. I don't believe Jerry ever said that and if he did, pretty sure he is wrong. I'll stand by the terms of his reinstatement included no alcohol at all.

People don't change, especially recidivist criminals. He's simply in a plateau phase where it appears that he's getting his life together. Of course, we've seen this before.

Can you please tell me something about this. I think this is laughable TBH.

That he's constantly getting in trouble with the law.

If I remember right the only thing that came close was Jerry saying he wasn't going to punish Pacman for the incident, because it was the NFL's purview to do that.

Pacman knew the rules in which he was allowed back into the league. He broke said rules. He got punished. Now he could be one minor screw up from a lifetime expulsion. PASS.

If he was the top 3 CB some people seem to think he is, then you might consider taking him back. Someone who's a pretty good player isn't worth the hassle.

I want you to explain to me how recidivist criminals don't change. Also in the explanation explain which criminals are more likely to re-offend and what factors lead to re offending. Then tell me how prison help deter people from recidivism. Also define recidivism because getting in trouble with the law isn't recidivism.

Um, this is a sports message board, not a debating society or moot court. Wiki defines recidivism as follows:

"The act of a person repeating an undesirable behavior after they have either experienced negative consequences of that behavior, or have been treated or trained to extinguish that behavior."

I'd say that describes Mr. Jones to a tee. If, above all odds, he finally "gets" it, he and I will be the most surprised people on the planet.

Trust me on this, that chapter is closed. There is not even a remote possibility he would be brought back.

You're probably right.

You might be thinking why the heel do I want this guy back?

I just think back to the 2007 Divisional loss to the Giants. Reeves giving up 3-4 straight completions to Eli on that key drive to end the half. The first one a real duck after Eli had been hit on the release. That ball had no biz going for a 25 yard completion.

What if we'd had Adam Jones in place of Reeves on that drive?

That what I'm talking about. I don't want to get caught in the post season with a poor player in a key position.

What if we get a cuple CB injured? What if Jenkins takes a step back?
Do you wnat Alan Ball taking key snaps at nickle CB in the play-offs?

Adam Jones was a good player and a good teammate. And he comes cheap.

I never said it was however, simply throwing out terms with out really knowing what you're talking about is silly. It also pisses me off with people make assumptions about things when they really don't know what they're talking about. However, keep doing what you're doing throw in a silly picture for laughs.

But you can act like you know the circumstances of Brett Favres pain killer addiction? And then compare it to Adam Jones's affinity for strip clubs and the "thug" lifestyle?

Didn't know hypocrites were in style.

PACMAN, STILL MAKING IT RAIN
Posted by Mike Florio on March 12, 2009, 10:34 a.m.

So much for the notion that Pacman has grown up.

In response to our item regarding whether the oft-troubled cornerback has changed his life, a league source tells us that, in many respects, he’s still the same guy.

Jones recently attended former teammate Marcus Spears’ birthday party, which was held at Buddha 9 in Dallas. (To illustrate just how far the mighty have fallen, Jones didn’t even make the publicized list of confirmed guests.)

According to the source, “Jones made it rain with dollar bills.”

Said the source: “All the other players there thought he was a complete idiot for doing it. It was a upscale bar/restaurant and he acted like it was a cheap Atlanta strip club. So, no, he hasn’t grown up.”

Matt Jones does not have the same track record that Pacman had, Pacman has earned his reputation through out his career both in college and in the Pros. Pacman was on a shorter leash due to his past and rightfully so

Your right Matt Jones actually does something bad...

I pointed out how someone addicted to pain killers was viewed as a Golden Boy and a triumphant hero as opposed to adam jones who is viewed as an evil tyrant and "thug" as you would say. Where it's really not justified.

Theres a stark difference in being addicted to painkillers and being involved with shootings and whatnot.

Also Brett Favre stood up admitted his mistake and asked for forgiveness, AND DID NOT REPEAT HIS MISTAKE.

Adam Jones has never come clean, and his 2 cent head hasn't been enough to tell him to not do the same crap over and over and appreciate the opportunities which are given to him.

Well if this is true, I DON'T WANT HIM BACK EITHER!

It's just thst he went the whole year with us, without anything silly like this being reported.

Sure Favre had a problem gobbling up vicodin because he played through so many injuries that you couldn't imagine outside of carpel tunnel. He also raised a great family, and is one of the most respected people in the league.

At least Favre came out and manned up about it, Pacman hid behind his lawyer and some B.S. apology. Can't believe you're defending this piece of ****. And this is coming from a guy that owns a Sanders, Irvin, and Owens jersey.

Pacman is evil, he pounded a strippers face into the bar over and over again in a coke-induced rage. He put out a hit on a guy. He moved pounds and pounds of marijuana once he got his first pay check. You're a moron.

You act like he's been going out and getting into shots out everyday. Brett Farve's addiction is pretty serious. After the shooting incident there hasn't been another one so what are you saying ?

What does what jersey you own have to do with anything?
