I think it's appalling that the media members get together a couple of times a year, in an undisclosed location and they make a list of unsuspecting innocent athletes they are going to attack.

That's what happened to Pacman. He came out of college...fine fellow. He was minding his own business, being a good guy and a good upstanding citizen...and the media had him on their damn list and started writing about him.

They leave other athletes of varying races, beliefs, origins alone...but if you're on that list, whoa there is hell to pay.

It's the reverse of the lottery. If your name gets drawn from the hat and you go on the media hit list, they can even have teammates, coaches, and executives tell lies about you.

It was written by a woman, I think her last name was Brown.

Yep. They just seize on guys who give them absolutely no reason to write about them. Guys like Owens and Pacman...

I live in NY. Derek Jeter has never had one bad word written about him...super star, single, has dated some very high profile women...and...not a single bad word.

Lucky guy. I guess he wasn't on the list.
