Panthers coach

Yeah I like Ruhl and Brady. They did some great things out there yesterday. I also love our staff and how they attacked them in that 3rd quarter. That was impressive stuff. I mean that was dominance of a coaching staff that I didn't think could be dominated.

No way that was happening, did you see the deal he got? 9M x 7, think Booger is giving that to a HC? Think Rhule is putting up with the Joneses?

Whether it is real or not, the perception that they meddle is there and even more so for coaches in the loop. There are some that would never consider coaching for them.

Hell, you watch TV or listen to sports radio in DFW, you'll wonder if the Cowboys even have a HC.

Those pauses you see McC making during games are "I wonder what Booger would want me to do" moments. And that doesn't matter because he will second guess him to the media if it doesn't work out.
I think older owners in many cases feel more comfortable with coaches with track records
It is a gamble anytime you bring a guy in and a track record gives them some peace of mind
I don’t think the money is a huge factor at all
6 mil or 9 mil isn’t a big deal to a billionaire
He does like control but he hasn’t really interfered much with mike to me

Good HC, but am I the only one that thinks he looks like an annoying whiner on the sideline? Does the same thing every week. You want to get mad, get mad, but stop whining
YEAH HE looked lost at times yesterday, in over his head.
Gets too emotional, instead of concentrating on game.

Rhule is, was and will be a great coach. That guy will win wherever he goes. Super smart. Low ego. Relates to the players. Great XO guy. Great hire for Carolina.

He seems to have that club pointed in the right direction and Darnold to me looks much better then he ever did floundering in New Jersey but one play sticks out. When the Panther HC himself shoved that defensive player off the sidelines telling him get back out to the game and then Carolina is flagged for too many men on the field.

Why wouldn’t a position coach be the one to shove bodies out into the game not the HC and second if McCarthy had shoved someone back into action drawing a too many men on the field penalty the boards would have lit up from here to Racine Wisconsin. McCarthy seems more spectator then that , keeping time outs bizarre challenges etc

That was a tactic I think. It's so that he can stop the clock.

Yeah, Rhule is solid. He's got the Panthers going in the right direction.

So the tactic is shove the first guy into battle standing around to take a penalty to stop the clock ? I did notice the Panthers were out of time outs by the time Pam Oliver said her feet were killing her and Greg Olsen was wistfully wondering if he could suit up in Charlotte again about 5 mins into 3rd quarter.

Again if Mike’s subs was out of time outs early quarter 3 and started shoving bodies to midfield yeah Stephen A. Smith would clock Bayless over the head with that nugget.
.

One difference is MM makes mistakes that we have to overcome. The penalty Sunday clearly was intentional and aided the Panthers.

Why would he intentionally give us a first down? Stopping the clock there isn't worth giving the other team a new set of downs.
