Panthers Defense

This is going to be a really physical football game, and the Panthers are coming off of a long week, while the Cowboys are on a short week. It will be interesting to see how the Cowboys come out of the gate.

And it’s the dreaded “ noon “ game giving the Pokes less time .

They are 3-0 and we will are them seriously, that good thing..kee our attention high..

They have played two of the three worst offenses and Jameis Winston.

If they hold Dallas, they will be legit.

Let's see how they do vs our weapons.
So far they held the saints to 7, the Jets somehow got 14 points, and they held the Texans to 9 points also.

Yeah, they're solid....not great.
Definitely can get to the ball.

The Saints were missing a lot that day and Jameis was having one of "those" days.
The other offenses are awful.

Plus they lost their rookie stud CB last week.

The best run D we have faced was vs the Bucs
The best pass D we faced was vs the Chargers

27-33 point range vs the Panthers in Dallas

Very concerned over this game, that D is legit and Chubba Hubbard might be the fastest RB in the NFL.

They took a HUGE hit losing, McCaffery. I like Hubbard too, but he has almost identical speed as McCaffery (both official times were in the 4.48-4.49 range) but is not as strong, nor near the receiver (is anyone?) or blocker

He IS good though. Great move by Carolina to draft him where they did.

I have seen them play the last two weeks, they are legit good. Their defense is fast.

They rely on pressure. Just need to be precise with blitz pickups and hot reads. Avoid negative plays, which their defense relies on creating. Clearly this is the toughest test their D will have so far this season.

Keep McGovern as FB/TE and just steamroll the cusses with running game.

McGovern as extra blocker in passing situations works too.

Key words.....speed endurance....something you don't need at 40 yards, something you must have at 100 meters.

The 40 takes no training, the 100m is all about training.

The Panthers are so overhyped. Hubbard was average vs the Texans and was stuffed by the Saints. Their offensive line is hot garbage. Fleming is their starting left tackle.

I do worry about them getting extra rest over Dallas having a shorter week, but even with that, I feel we can score on them.

Yah Jets wasnt too tough and Texans with a 3rd string QB. Winston with pressure is teribble. But they lost McCaffrey which is everything to them. I see a lot of big nickel all game with 3 safeties daring them to run the ball. We get a nice lead and it should be over. They do have some quality passing weapons and Sam Darnold has been playing great.

But without McCaffrey that offense will struggle. And they lost Horne their #1 pick corner which was a part of that defense. They trade for Henderson but Im not sure how much of an impact he can make on such short notice.

Jets, Saints, and Texans aren't much of a test. I know the Saints have weapons but they aren't the Drew Brees led machine anymore with Jameis Winston.

The Cowboys won't roll them as easily as they did the Eagles but Sunday should still be a solid win, maybe something like 30-21.
