Only played 5 games in 2 years. That’s really desperate on our part then. Still an upgrade which is Terrible to our guys on the roster

He's injured the same shoulder TWO years in a row and has only played FIVE games in those two seasons. The panthers decided to add 11 mil in dead money for 2021 because they don't think he can stay healthy. Just how nice is an option if the 1, 2 or 3rd games he's on IR again. To many times fans see or remember what a player did early in their careers and not what they've done recently and then think hey the Cowboys should get him or look at him.

Honestly I hadn't realized he had been injured so much. Just remembered how well he played a few years back. Like I said, Good option. If he can't pass a physical, then nope. If he isn't motivated to try and make a comeback and have a successful and dominant time, then nope. If he isn't willing to sign a contract for base money with lots of bigger money for play then nope. With that said, if he would take a base contract with escalators, then it at least is an option. May end up being a bad option in the end, but they should at least kick the tires, IMO.

For DT that's not actually true. It's one of the best postions in the NFL for free agency value. Every year guys not far removed from there rookie contract who are good enough to start like Johnathan Hankins, Shelby Harris, Danny Shelton, and Malcom Brown sign every off-season for mid to lower-mid prices.

For a team that's as bad in the middle as we are you don't have to break the bank to upgrade

its the market value of DTs....those that can rush the passer get paid a premimum, if you are a run stuffer, then you are useful to a defense, specially one like ours.....so its market value of that player..you will pay for premium players....
