"I've had the pleasure of working with some great coaches, such as Joe Gibbs, Greg Blache and Sherman Lewis," Cerrato said.
No mention of the coach he hired: Zorn. Jerry has his flaws (oh boy), but he would never sandbag a coach like that on his way out the door. And now the fans and media are openly speculating about Zorn's successor, before the body's even cold. This is a cruel business.
To me, that doesn't make it any better, even if Zorn has been told. If you know you are going to fire someone then do it, hire an interim coach, and then you're free to go looking for head coaches. This way Zorn has to publicly embarrass himself by pretending that he's the head coach. Every day must be embarrassment after embarrassment for him as he interacts with people around Commanders Park.SkinsHokieFan;3153866 said:Indeed it is. Although I am 100 percent certain that Zorn was told at some point this season he would be out as head coach, and that he'll collect his 3 million dollars next year for doing nothing if he sticks it out, works hard, is professional and does his best
Thats hardly how the organization has been run the past few years, but to Zorn's credit, he has kept coaching as hard as he can

Dungy doesn't want to coach anymore.ThreeSportStar80;3153182 said:Since Tony Dungy is available, why not start with him?

Shanny is completely classless for interviewing for another man's job.
