Parcells said that this year is different from previous years because they have greater depth, which has been proven by the fact that they are getting calls about trades for several players. He seemed to believe that a trade or two is imminent.

Where are we deepest and about whom might other teams be calling?
DL? - Coleman?
TE? - Curtis?
RB? - Kincade?
LB? - Fowler?
DB? - Coleman or Pile?

Kenyon Coleman is the only one on that list we might get something for and even then it would be a low round pick.

Kenyon Coleman and Ryan Fowler are the only two players that you could get anything for.

I seriously doubt anyone would trade for M. Coleman.

TO for Branch, straight up!

:p:

I think these are the positions where we MIGHT trade:

DE, ILB, RB

I don't think we can trade Alcohol Coleman, because nobody would want him with his suspension..I think...

Kenyon Coleman might be a good trade option for us.

I'm not sure if we'll trade ILB, because we already traded Shanle.

Keylon Kincade looks like a good trade option.

I wonder what we'd actually trade FOR:

OL, WR?

Burnett, absolutely not. Singleon, he's such a good pro and i love the depth we have with him i hope not because i doubt he'd bring more than a 5th and for that i'd rather have his experience and ability.

I'm not sure if we'd trade OLB.

We have Ellis, Ware, Burnett, and Singleton. Carpenter moved inside. I'm just not sure that BP would be comfortable enough to have 2-3 OLB's especially since LB's are one of the most important part of the Defense.

I think Branch ends up staying in NE, they are allowing him to seek a trade but Branch is asking for a lot of money from what I heard NE is letting him see for himself what the market price for him really is. I'm not sure many teams this late in the process are going to have the money to spend on him or at least what he wants.

Those are the 2 that I thought also. No one else, teams will wait on cuts. Because they can get a similar player from other teams after cuts. I doubt Copper, unless someone is desperate for a WR / ST player.

Kincaide is the name that jumps out at me. At this point, why would a team want to trade for a guy that will be cut in a week? Since a team would probably only want him as a back up, they don't need him right now to start learning their system. They can wait and then sign him after he is cut. Unless you are trading for a starter or top back up, I don't think teams will trade guys that are on the bubble at this point.

Burnett would have the most value by far, but if something happened to our two starting OLB's...he's the guy we want out there. I would not want to trade him at all.

We might also trade one of our young WRs and/or one of our OTs (depending on how many of each we keep). Otherwise, we might end up just cutting good players.

No way will Parcell trade these two. Burnett has excellent upside, and Singleton is the experienced vet that you need to play in December and January, and not to mention February.

If we do end up trading a couple of those guys for low round draft pick then I certainly hope Parcells will be around to work his 7th round magic next year.

If we keep 9 OLman maybe Fabini has some value, rather than just cutting him. Personally i think we keep 10 OLman and Fabini is one of those 10, but ya never know.

They will if they like the player enough and also so they do not have to compete with 30 other teams for the players services. If you wait for the cuts, you are basically gambling. So the question is, is the player worth the gamble?

If we could get our 2nd back for Burnett I'd trade him in a hearbeat.

For Al I'd take a 4th rounder.

I think Carp could fill in and do a decent job at either ILB or OLB.

Bobby C is playing ILB this year for depth, but we drafted him to play OLB. The only way he plays ILB next year is if James is gone. Don't see that happening. James a team leader, young and fierce on D. We didn't spend all that cash on Akin to sit the bench either.

Greg is 31, 32 and Al is getting old as well. BC has to move outside at some point.
