I swear when we went for it on 4th down, Switzer was in his headset calling the plays. 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 all over again.

lame. it's amazing you guys still don't know that Tuna is an unorthodox risk taker. if you're gonna attack Tuna like that it looks foolish after a comeback win on the road.Juke99 said:To quote the coach himself "I doesn't matter what you've done in the past, sooner or later you have to prove you can still get the job done."
Still waiting.

the same guys mocking on Switzer for his 4th-1 were jumping around like schoolgirls when JJ did it time after time with a slightly better team.
i would have punted myself, but credit him for making the move and showing confidence in his team.

he doesn't take obvious risks at obvious times.
he won 2 lombardis on teams with many deficiencies & holes. (unlike Tom, Jimmy & Barry)
deal with it

I wasn't only referring to that one play call.
Yeah, and ok...it's amazing that you can look at a RIDICULOUS play call and frame it as "unorthodox risk taking"...that's why Parcells himself mouthed the words "that was my fault" on the sidelines after it backfired...or wait, I just watched it again...I think he mouthed the words "Im an unorthodox risk taker"
Oh btw, could you please define what an Orthodox Risk Taker is vs an Unorthodox one.
Thank you..
And I'm flattered at your amazement.
