Parcells almost gave it away

I swear when we went for it on 4th down, Switzer was in his headset calling the plays. 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 all over again.

when you are taking 3 steps and throwing it fast that is when you man them; you will get INTs that way. Zone will kill you on 3 steps.

This issue has been too obvious to me. We saw it nearly cost us a win against SD. We need to reconsider our strategy in these situations.

It came close to costing us the win today too. Obviously we're concerned about the other team running out of 3-wide sets but when we're getting killed thorough the air one has to like you say reconsider our strategy.

To quote the coach himself "I doesn't matter what you've done in the past, sooner or later you have to prove you can still get the job done."

Still waiting. :)
lame. it's amazing you guys still don't know that Tuna is an unorthodox risk taker. if you're gonna attack Tuna like that it looks foolish after a comeback win on the road.

the same guys mocking on Switzer for his 4th-1 were jumping around like schoolgirls when JJ did it time after time with a slightly better team.

i would have punted myself, but credit him for making the move and showing confidence in his team.

snore....

I wasn't only referring to that one play call.

Yeah, and ok...it's amazing that you can look at a RIDICULOUS play call and frame it as "unorthodox risk taking"...that's why Parcells himself mouthed the words "that was my fault" on the sidelines after it backfired...or wait, I just watched it again...I think he mouthed the words "Im an unorthodox risk taker"

Oh btw, could you please define what an Orthodox Risk Taker is vs an Unorthodox one.

Thank you..

And I'm flattered at your amazement. :D

we know - you've been bashing tuna since he stepped on that plane in NJ w/ JJ - the routine is old

he doesn't take obvious risks at obvious times.

he won 2 lombardis on teams with many deficiencies & holes. (unlike Tom, Jimmy & Barry)

deal with it :)

Yep..."won"...

And I've not been "bashing"...I've just not been blindly genuflecting...

All I'm doing is holding Mr Parcells to his own standards.

I'm am unsure why that makes you guys so crazy.

"Regardless of what you've done in the past, at some point, you have to prove you can still get the job done."

He's your idol...those are his words...why don't you hold him to his own standard? :D

that's the thing... we're 2-1 not 0-3. your silly hate on our HOF coach is more annoying (as opposed to driving us crazy) and laughable... especially after a nice road win where most teams would have quit early :)

I swear Mikey...if you look real closely, that's what he said...

:D

The fake punt call I liked. It did not work. We still won. Best part is now BP can look at that fake punt play and see what went wrong. Next time we will get it right.
