My point was there aren't too many coaches who have coached dynasties... A dynasty alone doesn't mean the coach is great. Coaches can be great without coaching dynasties.

My point is BB has made NE in his image, not BP.
He has long since broke that bond of being a "student of BP"
He has far exceeded that of BP.
He has won his way, he has changed, adapted in ways BP wouldn't (IMO)
He is his on genius on defense..very innovative, cutting edge (unlike BP)
He was lucky with TB but that's part of it.
He was smart enough to get CW to run his O....BP is not smart enough to
get someone close to that here yet...
BB doesn't want to be linked forever with BP, I think that motivates
him to put even more separation between the two.


BP took NE to the SB back when the AFC sucked.
They were simply the best of a terrible ,horrible ,weak conference.
hence the outcome.

If you didn't realize this is a cowboys forum. That is who I care about.
Championships count in big D. We expect more than 9-7, but you
probably are happy sitting out the playoffs, as long as BP is the coach.
We will win another Championship after BP leaves. But not until, is my prediction.

That Patriots team is built on coaching, Tom Brady, and Richard Seymour. Throw in some healthy, smart linebackers, smart WR's, and a running back who doesn't fumble and you have a Superbowl Champion. That's how good Belichek, Brady, and Seymour are.
