Jerry wanted to go back to San Antonio, after already going to California, because of sponsors. I thought at the time we were told they’d had booking conflicts.

I was hoping they’d go more into his whole tenure. Nothing about Bledsoe, Keyshawn or T.O.

Just the 2003 season with a brief mention about his exit.

I thought it was a very well done documentary. The biggest thing I learned was Larry Allen fell into the Dave Campo trap. He became complacent and Parcells first day LA was pissed and he was pouting like a baby about how tough Parcells was. Interesting to see that. LA in my opinion is easily top 5 lineman all time. And to see that he wasn't putting in much effort was surprising.

Just finished watching this legend's time with e the Dallas Cowboys.
Just watching the Doc. inspired me. I forgot his little things that were so instructive.
So impressed.

When Bill gives that interview and gets asked about Jerry being the GM and quickly points out (paraphrasing) that whatever player comes in here is going to be coached right.

Bill's treatment of Larry Allen was classic. Sent a message to whole team, whole organization right there.

Yes that was Tom Coughlin on sideline Bill was talking to. Coughlin was out of coaching and not yet the Giants coach. Bill brought him, Ron Wolf, several others who Biill had coached with and he asked them to critique his players that 1st training camp. Bill said he needed another set of eyes to best judge the talent but more importantly the type of player that could be coached hard.

Bill smiling at the camera saying coaching is kind of simple ,"you play pretty good defense and don't turn the ball over, you win alot of games."

Zimmer was a great defensive coordinator. He had #1 defense and team still went 5-11 under Campo. Bill has nothing but good praise for that defense. That defense was nothing like what he wanted but they surprised him by being tough and played very well.

Bill's coaching that first year was best coaching you will ever see. Just demanding that no mistakes be made. He made the guys tough, they cut out mistakes, and they played with effort. He willed that team to 10-6. Something to be said about how we look at players and talent

Really thankful to see this on here. I just finished watching this to start my day.

I love Parcells and who knows where this franchise would be without him. I feel many Dallas fans don’t hold Parcells in as high a regard as they should. It’s a tragedy that Wade and Garrett couldn’t do anything worth note with that stacked roster.

Bill was not a talent dependent coach and didn't need amazing QB play.


He would love to coach these current Cowboy teams. Dak is such a Bill Parcells type of player too.

I think he would butt heads with Elliot and get more out of him in the process.

It was great. Must watch for Cowboys / BP fans. Especially for those fans that don't appreciate what BP did for the Cowboys. Jerry, once again, is a meddlesome jerk. The 2007 should have been so much more. Great documentary.
