Parcells not happy with Henson's NFLE performance

I dont really think this is necessary, the only insults have come from him, but neither of us has stepped over any line that I know of.
It's called sarcasm :D

And I never claimed otherwise. Still not sure why I have to prove something I never intended to prove and am saying I never did, thus agreeing with you. I know you arent wrong on that point because I will say freely I have never given Henson props based on an opinion from a beatwriter.

However, I have shown you where I am capable of praising Henson for his performance, which should give you the indication that I am not simply saying he sucks to say he sucks. I have the facts to back up that opinion. If you can disprove them or provide more convincing ones, I will have no problem saying you're right. However, we both know you cant.

Nice touch going back to 3rd grade with the end of that post, BTW. It's starting to make sense.....

i figured if i took it down to that level, it would. glad i finally got it worked out for you.

now - if you say you'll never give henson props based on a beatwriter, WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD would i waste my time finding those articles?

OF WHICH has been my only point.

To all those people who don't believe Tom Crowder will ever be a starting NFL wide receiver, I just have one simple question for you...

Why do you hate the Cowboys?

articles exist that show henson in a positive light
SHOW ONE!!!! (you)
why - you'll just tear it up and dismiss it.

I demanded facts, not opinions, and called you out, saying you couldnt produce facts. You just admitted that all you had were the opinions of beat writers.

How did you say it....oh yeah

I win, neener neener

Care for me to bring up your previous psots and make a fool out of you again on this thread, or have had enough of that?

You've been claiming that for two pages, and yet you are still here

And, the insults were from you, I'm assuming because you have no basis for yuor opinion and were forced to resort to them.

The first time I was joking...sort of....this time I mean.....both of you need to chill. Have you done anything wrong technically no but I'm sure I'm not the only one sick of this pissing contest

Let me get this right.

A good QB should make his WRs better.

So Marino willed his WRs to catch the ball, huh?

All a QB can do is get it there on time and with accuracy, the rest is on the receiver.

HENSON DID GET IT THERE ON TIME AND WITH ACCURACY.

Drops and throw aways aside, the entire idea of basing any of this on stats is the number of games and the shared snaps. We look at the numbers and our context is based on 16 games, 16 full games.

Without Chang for 16 games:

448 ATT, 240 COMP, 53.7%, 2916 YARDS, 6.51 YPA, 21 TD, 6 INT

Now anyone who saw the games or the vid recaps knows that his receivers were dropping passes left and right...at least 3 or 4 a game...and yes every QB puts up with drops, but few at that frequency.

Adjusted stats for 1 drop:

448 ATT, 256 COMP, 57.1 %, 3020 YARDS, 21 TD, 6 INT

Adjusted for 2 drops:

448 ATT, 272 COMP, 60.1%, 3124 YARDS, 21 TD, 6 INT

Who can tell where the TDs and INTs would really end up, but there were a few drops on deep balls with the receiver behind the DB, and one INT came on a dropped pass.

Actually, Jake Delhomme put up very good numbers while only playing for 1 half every single game as part of a 2 QB rotation. I have no clue what Brad Johnson did in Europe as far as stats, but like I said before, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then. You cant go on expecting that. It is the exception, not the rule.

Okay????
1. Allocated to the Amsterdam Admirals in 1998 by the New Orleans Saints from their practice squad. Backup to Kurt Warner for the 1998 NFLE season, completing 15 of 47 attempts for 247 yards and a touchdown.

2. Returned to NFL Europe for a second season in 1999, with the Frankfurt Galaxy. Split time with Pat Barnes as the Galaxy compiled a 6-4 record and won a spot in the World Bowl. Delhomme ranked second in NFLE with a 96.8 quarterback rating, completing 136 of 202 passes for 1,410 yards and 12 touchdowns; including a 316 yard outing against the Rhein Fire.
3. In World Bowl 99 Delhomme threw an 8-yard touchdown strike to Mario Bailey at the start of the fourth quarter in the Galaxy's 38-24 title win. He completed 9 of 14 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown, adding 47 yards on five rushes. 4. Delhomme's presence in Super Bowl XXXVIII marks the third consecutive Super Bowl in which one of the quarterbacks has played in NFL Europe. However, neither Brad Johnson (London 1995) nor Kurt Warner (Amsterdam 1998) played in a World Bowl during their careers in Europe.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
96.8 qb rating is not that much better but you seem to think it makes all the difference in the world.

now how does 1 drop you're adjusting for raise the completions by 16?

448 att, 240 complete. if you were gonna adjust one why not 448 att, 241 complete? and w/a 6.51 average, wouldn't it just raise his total (by stats) 6.51 yards, not almost 100?

just trying to figure how you're doing this bz- NOT an argument. : ) (seeking to understand like i say many don't try to do but just yell at it instead)

So Marino willed his WRs to catch the ball, huh?

Obviously not, but he gave them the confidence of knowing they were playing with a great QB and that he would ALWAYS, game in and game out, do his job and not fail them. That leads to players rasing their level, knowing they have that kind of ability and leadership helping them out, and that it is THEIR job, not the great QBs, to get their team over the top.

If you've never played WR with a good QB, then you will have a hard time understanding this.
