Whine about Parcells all you want, but we've had two +.500 seasons in the last seven years, and they both came under him.

If you really want to complain about Parcells, then never cheer for Ware, Jones, Keyshawn, Glenn, James, Barber, Crayton, Witten, Newman, Canty, Spears, Henry, or any of the other players except for a select few again.

You can blame playcalling, gameplanning, personnel, draft picks or free agents all you want, but if you can't see a difference between this team as it stands today and any of our teams in recent memory than you're nothing but an unobjective hater.

If you want a perfect coach than you point him out and bring him in. If you want a coach who does everything perfectly within the system that is the NFL of the year 2005-2006, bring him in. You''ll have a damn hard time finding him.

It's time for some fans get off the tradition of this franchise to a degree. There is nothing wrong with having expectations, but there is also the reality that things aren't now as they have always been.

Expectation are fine, but reality is that **** happens and **** doesn't always happen the way you want it. Some players don't play as well as you would think they would, some get hurt, some bust. Some bounces go your way, some bounces don't. Some penalties go your way, some penalties don't. Name one coach in the NFL or college that you can state with 100% veracity would do a better job.

10 years since a Super Bowl. Woop-de-****ing-do. We waited 15 years between them before. It might be another 5 years before we return to the Super Bowl, it might be 10 years the way the league is now. We're not the only team in the NFL with a rich tradition who hasn't seen a return to what we consider our rightful place. The Browns, Packers, Eagles, Raiders and 49ers are all teams with a great history who haven't done anything for years, and it's not all about coaching.

At what point do we blame Parcells/Bledsoe and company. We went to the playoffs with Quincy stinking Carter, and we couldn't pull out 10 wins with Bledsoe.

I'm sick of rooting for these characters, they are a bunch of old-school tools. Maybe Parcells didn't want to open up the offense because Bledsoe can't throw the ball straight for more than 2 plays at a time.

I saw the game like everyone, and I saw times when sorry TUcker and Petitti actually gave Bledsoe time to throw, and he consistantly threw too high, or wide right, or too low, or in another cornerbacks hands.

We need home grown talent. We need to draft a QB like I said last weak. Last week I gave him a break because the whole game he had no time to throw, but this game he had downs where he had plenty of time.

BP is old school, and he's finished. I don't like how he tries to dominate all the play-calling on offense, when I will bet you that Paython would rather open it up and get after people. We are going to be sitting here next year limping in the play-offs (possibly) and get rocked by Washington and alot of us will still be protecting Bledsoe and BP.

I'm tired of dreaming.

I'm for BP coming back BUT....
we've got to get new assistants.
1) new offensive coordinator
2) new defensive coordinator
3) new Offensive Line coach
4) new defensive backs coach, or else i can just volunteer to yell at them all week "don't get beat deep" "keep everything in front of you" "stop getting beaten deep"

From 7-3 to 9-7...football teams distinguish themselves in November and December..'nuff said.

Juke,

What transpired at that 7-3 point? Anything? I don't recall exactly when but wasn't that roughly when Flozell went down? How many teams could lose their Pro-Bowl Left Tackle and not be hurt by it? And how many teams this year had 3 different kickers? How many teams had their leading rusher from the year before miss eight games with a high ankle sprain?

All I'm saying is...it's not like everything was rosy for us and we stunk up the joint. We faced a lot of adversity at a couple of critical positions and still came out with a winning record. We didn't make the playoffs but I am optimstic about the future, and I think it'd be a HUGE mistake to assume that Parcells being replaced is anything CLOSE to the answer.

We were a reliable kicker away from making the playoffs - plain and simple. We win one more game this season and we were in, and our kicking woes cost us at least 2 games. If we can lock up a good kicker, tighten up our o-line, and bring in a veteran FS, I really think we could win the NFC East next year.

I'm an optimist, I know, but I don't see why everyone is so incredibly negative about our season. I guess it's because we just lost the game.

here we go Bp lovers!
witten, key, glen,jj barber, ware, crayton, canty, spears, ratliff, ferguson?all good things that he has brought to this team! that i cannot deny!

Please take the good with the bad here BP lovers!
peterman, rogers, johnson, vinnie, stewart, cooper, coleman, dixon(keeping him to long) Retaining Zimmer, payton, sparano, dehaven and the rest of his staff!
Conservative playcalling! not bringing in veteran back up line men. refusing to get a true free safety w/ $5 million in cap space! staying with the pathetic run game with 8/9 men in the box!

Our wide receivers are 34 and 32 years old! don't get me wrong i love what key brings to the game and glen has been doing well, please get a QB for the future!

You praise him when things go well and refuse to question him when he screws up!
