Parcells to make decision in hours?

Um, Jarv, "anti-Cowboys' fan" is a term that I use to describe people who seem to have more passion hating the Cowboys than rooting for their own team. When I mentioned the term, it was with respect to those people in the media who propagate as "news" unsubstantiated - well, that's what I call "anonymous sources", or "we hear from someone close", etc. - hearsay to fit their own agendas, promoting news that would be considered detrimental to the Cowboys.

It has nothing to do with anyone on this forum who are real Cowboys fans, and I never bashed this forum, nor have I felt one inkling of a need to.

Bottom line is your a Cowboys fan, which makes you cool by me.

Once agian, when has parcells ever mentioned retirement? The MEDIA is the one who is making all thr rumors and the retiring stuff. I think Parcells is just having fun with the media. I pay absolutly no attention to all the rumors about his retiring. If he does oh well we got to move on, if he doesn't we got to move on. Either way it goes we got to move on.

Parcells is a good coach and all, but it's no fun having a head coach who doesn't know if he'll return from year to year. And it's not fair to the rest of the organization who's trying to build for longterm.

I agree. This is frustrating. I'm organizing some sort of national revolt, that will act out if Parcells leaves us high and dry with a brand new defense that we can't run effectively, and retreads that don't perform as well when he's not the coach. I'm thinking of something involving ferrets, let me know if you have any ideas.

I'm a fan of Bill as our head coach, but if he is going to drag it out whether or not he wants to retire than I would prefer he retires. We have come too far to fail next season because we couldn't get a good head coach. Before the top coaching candidates begin to go I want Parcells to make his decision. THat is just wrong to us if he costs us the chance to get a good coach in here.

I think Parcells will sign an extension. I think after this season he realized that it may take longer than he thought and is just now questioning if he can go threw a few more years of this.
