Looking at my crystal ball....i see a lot of threads in the future debating PFF ratings each week in regards to Free vs Parnell. A side note, if it's not a lot of money, then him not signing with Washington says a lot.

Maybe he will have a better chance to beat out the starter there.
He had every chance to beat out Free here and he could not do it no matter how much some fan(s) complained.

Untimely camp injuries means he never really had a chance.

I liked his potential/upside more than that of free.

Anyhow time to find and then groom the heir apparent.

But he has a chance to be a starter. I like him but he has been in the league since 2009 and this looks to be a chance for him to start. In Dallas I don't know if he overtakes Free or not, he had not done so to this point

I think he'll definitely be a starter, it's just that in my opinion, when you go to Jacksonville, it's for the money, not to win.

He could have started elsewhere too (like Washington), but this looks like strictly a money move in my opinion, going to whoever is willing to pay the most.

But that's what I had predicted when both guys hit free agency. The Cowboys would retain Free and Parnell would go somewhere else, likely being paid more than Free,

The Cowboys re-signed Doug Free, which allowed them to hold onto one of the two men to start at right tackle for them last season. It looks like the other one is headed for Jacksonville when players are allowed to sign with new clubs on Tuesday afternoon. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Parnell…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2317723&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

You don't go to Washington to win, either.

And that's why the Jags are perennial losers. Overpaying for a good, but not great OLineman who largely benefitted from playing next to the best guard in the NFL.

I like Morse in the middle rounds, Daryl Williams would be nice in the second but that would be a luxury I'm not sure the Boys can afford.

I've seen some mocks with Cedric Ogbuehi being available in the late second to third round. I'd take him there.

I also like Jake Fisher but think he'll be gone early in the second round.

$6.5 a year versus $3 ayear for free. Well that certainly clears that up. Also shows what other teams think of Parnell.

We're paying Free $5M per year and he's the better player.

Wow, no brainer. I would much rather have Free at his rate than Parnell at 6.5. Now they need to draft someone somewhere in the top four rounds that can be better than both of them and we can all move on.

Right now I don't know if you go to Washington is your looking to win. lol Sure money plays a big part but when you been in the league since 2009 and never have been a full time starter you jump at any opportunity to come your way
