Shhh, you're going to get attacked for speaking truth around here concerning Dak.Dak didn’t hold out practiced everyday and got a contract !
Dak already had tens of millions of guaranteed money owed to him regardless of being cut, traded, or re signed.Dak didn’t hold out practiced everyday and got a contract !
The security wasn’t there prior to his second contract. He continued to practice and never held out. He also played under the franchise tag twice and never complained.Dak already had tens of millions of guaranteed money owed to him regardless of being cut, traded, or re signed.
His security was already there.
These situations are like comparing apples to bowling balls.
If he were to hold out because of that he’ll likely be traded. When a player is looking to be the highest paid non-QB in the league and they hold out because of a beef with the owner they’ll probably be playing for another team.Micah should hold out because of the owners ridicolus comments.
CeeDee and Martin held out and got paidDak didn’t hold out practiced everyday and got a contract !
We could have traded him before the draft. Its self inflicted errors by incompetent ownership and then we they try to defend said decisions they spout off some dumb comment about his injury history when he has only missed 5 games in his NFL Career. If he were to hold out because of that he’ll likely be traded. When a player is looking to be the highest paid non-QB in the league and they hold out because of a beef with the owner they’ll probably be playing for another team.
He got injured during the season before his first after rookie deal contract. Last season. He’d already made over 100 million. Security was definitely there. The security wasn’t there prior to his second contract. He continued to practice and never held out. He also played under the franchise tag twice and never complained.
Not that I necessarily disagree with you but Dak only played under the tag once. While tagged in 2021 he signed his extension that offseason in March (8th) before camp (actually he signed it the day after the tag was placed because the contract was basically completed). The security wasn’t there prior to his second contract. He continued to practice and never held out. He also played under the franchise tag twice and never complained.
Parsons is asking to be the highest paid non-QB in NFL history. He’s asking for a bigger second contract than Dak received. Jerry mentioned Dak’s injury. Some are making two big deal out of what he said.We could have traded him before the draft. Its self inflicted errors by incompetent ownership and then we they try to defend said decisions they spout off some dumb comment about his injury history when he has only missed 5 games in his NFL Career.
However, he never complained about being tagged the second time. Not that I disagree with you but Dak only played under the tag once. While tagged in 2021 he signed his extension that offseason in March before camp.
TBH the smartest thing he could do is engineer a trade if he has a desire to make a run at a championship. If he were to hold out because of that he’ll likely be traded. When a player is looking to be the highest paid non-QB in the league and they hold out because of a beef with the owner they’ll probably be playing for another team.
Hence why I said I didn't disagree with you. You still weren't right about him playing under it the 2nd time but lets gloss over that part I guess (especially since he was tagged for all of 16 hours the 2nd time because the contract was basically complete when they applied it). However, he never complained about being tagged the second time.
The security wasn’t there prior to his second contract. He was seriously injured before that second contract. He got injured during the season before his first after rookie deal contract. Last season. He’d already made over 100 million. Security was definitely there.
No assurances a championship caliber team is going to want to fork up what it’s going to take to get him. He could end up on a team he doesn’t want to play for. He certainly isn’t going to be able to pick the team he wants to go to. From what I hear he likes playing for the Cowboys.TBH the smartest thing he could do is engineer a trade if he has a desire to make a run at a championship.
No, OP is just a bit out of touchDid I miss something?
