Parson going at it wrong!

Giving players biggest contracts in the league and they haven't accomplished anything.

However, he never complained about being tagged the second time.
He didn't complain about being paid 30+ million dollars. lol

He turned down a deal paying him 35 million aav prior to signing the tag.

This notion that players are victims for playing on a franchise tag is ludicrous.

If he were to hold out because of that he’ll likely be traded. When a player is looking to be the highest paid non-QB in the league and they hold out because of a beef with the owner they’ll probably be playing for another team.
And that would suck for the Cowboys and be good for Micah.

At this point being in the last year and expecting a 40+M contract the trade value has gone down significantly

If he wasn’t happy he would’ve held out. No one said he was a victim.

Being traded might not be good for him. He could end up on a worse team. He’s had his success with the Cowboys.

Or he could end up with a playoff team...they maybe willing to give a 1st or more knowing it's probably lower in the round vs a non playoff team which may end up top 10

The point is he would be taking a risk, especially if he enjoys playing with the Cowboys. No guarantees he would continue to have great success with another team. A players personal brand is a lot more valuable when they play for the Cowboys. If we’re going to trade him we’d like to trade him to a bad team so we can get a higher first round pick. We’re going to want multiple picks for him.

CeeDee and Martin held out and got paid

And Micah is in camp, he’s just not doing drills.
That’s a chicken shxx way to do it things show up but don’t participate ! He is getting 23 million for this year ! Just trying to avoid fines !

I’ve reached a point in my fandom (started during the Campo era, so it’s been horrible) where I just don’t care anymore about players and their money. Sign. Don’t sign. Delay. Rush to it. Don’t care. More important things in life

Dak didn’t hold out practiced everyday and got a contract !
Zeke vacationed in Cabo and got a new deal. Jerry is always screwing around versus just getting it done. Every darn year. Pathetic!

Nah, the “hold in” is his compromise with Jerry to be there despite Jerry not even making him an offer.

You’d rather him hold out? Because that’s the better option

Dak didn’t have to hold out or hold in because he’s a QB and can’t be touched in practice, doesn’t have to do anything other than a three step drop and throw. His risk of injury was extremely low.

Dak already had tens of millions of guaranteed money owed to him regardless of being cut, traded, or re signed.

His security was already there.

These situations are like comparing apples to bowling balls.
Come out, play, excell, the future will take care of itself. If he can't, he doesn't deserve a big new contract anyaway.

His job js to perform under the legal cotract he voluntarily signed.
End of story

Regardless of what happens with Parsons contract, Jerry's mismanagement of contracts and salary caps have prevented the Cowboys from improving beyond a certain point.

If they pay Parsons then they can't afford to keep other players. If they don't sign him, they lose one of the best defenders of the decade.

Jerry makes terrible personnel decisions.

The security wasn’t there prior to his second contract. He continued to practice and never held out. He also played under the franchise tag twice and never complained.
Wait … 2 franchise tags and his first contract weren’t security?

Tad, wasssssupppppp? You blew all that already?>

There's a lot more risk healthwise for a defensive end. The quarterback is pretty much off-limits to contact.

Lamb held out. Martin held out. Parsons holding in just makes sense. He may participate in some drills if his "back tightness" subsides, but I don't think he'll do any drills where contact between players is involved.

It’s called football anyone can get hurt ,ever heard of a no contact injury Hmm

He was looking for a lot more security than that. The point is he never held out or even hinted he would hold out.
