Parson going at it wrong!

Regardless of what happens with Parsons contract, Jerry's mismanagement of contracts and salary caps have prevented the Cowboys from improving beyond a certain point.

If they pay Parsons then they can't afford to keep other players. If they don't sign him, they lose one of the best defenders of the decade.

Jerry makes terrible personnel decisions.
Totally agree with that

He didn't complain about being paid 30+ million dollars. lol

He turned down a deal paying him 35 million aav prior to signing the tag.

This notion that players are victims for playing on a franchise tag is ludicrous.
It’s fun seeing how Dak owns some posters here.

The security wasn’t there prior to his second contract. He was seriously injured before that second contract.
Are you counting his rookie deal as his first contract.

Ok let me rephrase this. His first negotiation was after his injury. His second negotiation however was after he’d been handsomely paid.

Better? And let’s not compare Dak and Micah. One was a 4th rounder and one has money already being a first rounder.

Come out, play, excell, the future will take care of itself. If he can't, he doesn't deserve a big new contract anyaway.

His job js to perform under the legal cotract he voluntarily signed.
End of story
Well. His boss shouldn’t be preaching “we build thru the draft” and then calling not the guy for getting hurt “while performing under the legal contract”

You do realize these guys aren’t playing cricket right?

Micah should hold out because of the owners ridicolus comments.
With the approaching income taxes and no State taxes someone is saying stay cheap...? Next the endorsements.

Got to agree $120M is pretty hard to start building these days with if one doesn't just inherent it. :flagwave:

Dak didn’t hold out practiced everyday and got a contract !
30 years and im still waiting for so called Cowboys fans to actually start paying attention

Dak already had millions, had a no trade contract AND was wearing a red jersey which told everyone he could not be hit

Nothing has been waited upon by yourself but opportunity to insult and cry. Every team does that...so?

That is some red observation. Must have broke a sweat on that one.

Discuss DT Smith's current game plan announced by staff.

What has Dak Presscott accomplished in your book?

My regular old life and career feel all of his pain and intrepidness.
Buy insurance, like I have to.

half a player.
He actually is a very incomplete DE.
Rushes upfield like a madman every play because he is way too small, frequently getting caught out of position, creating exploitable gaps to run in, losing contain, generally hurting his team on first and second down runs.
Second and manageable or third and short are defense/game killers

Your overall point is taken but for the record, his first negotiation was after his third season, as soon as it was possible according to league rules. He turned down two offers prior to "betting on himself" and playing on the tag.

In the PC, when both Jerry and Little Jer talked about players sometimes choosing to wait it out and let the market value increase, they were no doubt referencing that very situation.

But yea, I agree. Financial insecurity doesn't factor in near as much as KJJ want to believe it does.

I would say Jerry Jones is going about this all wrong. I am not sure there is a right way or wrong way for the players. Jerry is going to be Jerry regardless of what Parsons does.

Dak's a QB and MP is a DE. Dak knows he's getting paid regardless. Most Quarterbacks are company men.
