Parsons and Taylor should never be mentioned in the same sentence

L.T. was a COMPLETE linebacker. He was as good against the run as he was terrorizing qbs. His backside pursuit of rbs was amazing. And he had no problems shedding blocks and getting the tackle when offenses attempted to run directly at him as well.

Micah might be a lion when prowling for qbs. But he is a mere pup against the run. Now here is the greatest defensive player of all time showing you raw aggression and relentless pursuit against the run. Micah is not even in the same stratosphere.

We're all guilty of it! Parsons is a one treat pony, but it's not his fault. Quinn saw that Parsons has a gift for rushing the QB and Quinn accepted it with open arms. There is just one problem with this gift and that it doesn't play well when BIG FAT MEN are running at him, Parsons can't seem to shake his blockers and RBs are blowing by him at an alarming rate! The problem that the Boys have now is Parsons is going to demand a King's ramson to stick with the Boys and at this point and time the Boys need more than Parsons can offer. JJ and MM need to put together and find a trade partner who can offer up a couple of HIGH draft picks for Parsons that could be used to draft one or two MEAN FAT DUDES who feast on RBs.

Micah has a similar number of sacks in his first year compared to 2nd and 3rd. Why not go back to him playing LB on first down. Especially against a team that is going to run the ball early in the game.

If and when we get a lead, then increase his time at DE. If we can't stop the run then increase his time at LB. Adjust during the game.

He can also always blitz from the LB position. This will make it much more difficult for the offense to scheme against him with double teams.

Seems pretty damn simple to me.

A coked-up Micah Parsons would be just as good as a coked-up Taylor was. Don’t fool yourselves into thinking that cocaine didn’t play a role in how LT performed.
Yeah, cocaine is a real performance enhancing drug. Just ask Doc Gooden.

LT also played with linebackers Gary Reasons, Harry Carson and Carl Banks and defensive linemen George Martin, Leonard Marshall and Jim Burt.

Tell me who on the Cowboys defense you wouldn't trade straight up for any one of the Blue Wrecking Crew?
LT was on roids and crack cocaine yall chill.
Was Taylor in a chokehold on every play?
Stephen, you forgot to add all this other info. ;)

Really? Seriously, you don’t know how cocaine affects performance? It’s a stimulant. Of course it affects performance.
Not according to medical science.....google it or ask Jerry.

Parsons IS NOT that good of a LBer. He appears to be lost on plays that are being ran in his direction. If Quinn would have left him at the LBer spot instead of moving him to D-End I believe he would be one of the better LBers in the league, but that move turned him into a one treat pony and I don't think paying him MILLIONS to reinvent himself into a great LBer is in the best interest of the Cowboys. I think the Boys could get a couple of HIGH picks for Parsons and they should pull the trigger on a deal if one is presented to them.

LT was a the best. With that said, he was unblocked in like 50% of these highlights? Just curious, what did Micah excel in at PSU?

Haven’t read the thread comments, but yeah no kidding. Parsons isn’t arguably the best defensive player of all time.

What am I missing here?

I hate to be hard on Parson but he is the face of our defense. So act like it! Enough with the podcast and yaking. Go out and show everybody that you are still that all around defensive dominate player. If this is asking for too much??? Oh well.....
