I’m not sure if this has been posted or not. I looked and didn’t see it, so all apologies if I missed it.

Nice to see Parsons focusing on the problem stopping the run, even after the largest road victory in team history. He’s not letting the team forget that they still have to make sure to keep focusing on and working on stopping the run. He’s not letting the team get comfortable after just allowing 3 points to the Vikings.

Anyway, here is an excerpt and the link:

Based of what we've seen in his first two years, which includes two double-digit sacks seasons, a Rookie of the Year award, a Pro Bowl spot and first-team All-Pro selection, it's safe to assume Micah Parsons hasn't been picked on too much throughout his life.

Yet, when asked about the Cowboys' leaky run defense this year, Parsons compared it to a kid being bullied at school. And even though the Cowboys weren't exposed last week against the Vikings, Parsons knows the team will continue to be tested.

"I'm staying mad. Once the disrespect is out there, people are going to still try you," Parsons said on Tuesday. "It's almost like the bully trying to take your lunch money every day until you say 'no, that's enough.' They're going to keep taking your lunch money. I'm at that point, that's enough, you're not going to keep taking my lunch money."

I love this guy. You would think most professional athletes would share that sentiment, but as we all know sadly that's not the case. I'm just glad this guy is a Dallas Cowboy. Keep doing what you doing young man, I recall Michael Irvin telling Jimmy Johnson which players should stay and which players are just collecting a paycheck. Parsons is definitely the leader of this defense.

Yeah, his attitude, how he views the game, and his love of playing is 100% what this defense needed. It couldn’t be just any player saying this sort of thing… it needs to be the defenses alpha dog, and that is assuredly what Parsons is.

Yeah, we need this D to be a pack of mad dawgs! And I think a number of them are.

Like some of y'all I grew up with the Cowboys of the 60's and 70's and great defenses. Watching the 90's teams was a pleasure. Those teams had dawgs on D. This is the first time in my recollection since the 90's teams that we have had a collection of hungry and talented defensive players like this.

I hope that embarrassment from Lambeau burns at their very souls. I like Parsons being mad ! If they (the rest of the D) ain't mad they need to be weeded out! You win with heart and want-to !

Let them dawgs eat !

Stuff the run and our Offense needs to put up points early. Put opposing teams in position of playing from multiple scores behind.

That's nice and all but the Vikings had no problem running the ball. They just fell behind and abandoned it.

This is an atrocious run defense because our DTs suck.
we need 2 stick 2 contain base defense I think.

Interesting for such a young player to take the leadership role. Usually, they're a little intimidated by the older players but when no one else is going to step forward, he has taken it upon himself and this kind of talk I do not mind at all. He has been the temper of the defense when they underperform and is rapidly becoming the heart and soul.

Micah Parsons is making a case for management to do whatever they have to do to keep him. If that means the 5th year option and two tags, so be it. I would hope he would want to stay with the Cowboys but he's a different cat. What other Cowboy has ever said he actually likes teams from PA?

I get the feeling that for Parsons, his team is the one he's on at the time. And that would make him the #1 commodity should he ever hit FA. And I do not see that as mercenary or self-serving, I just think that's the way he's wired.

The Cowboys lucked into him but I don't think they had any clue what they were really getting, he's just flat out one of the top 3 draft picks in team history.
