Micah Parsons is making a case for management to do whatever they have to do to keep him. If that means the 5th year option and two tags, so be it. I would hope he would want to stay with the Cowboys but he's a different cat. What other Cowboy has ever said he actually likes teams from PA?

I get the feeling that for Parsons, his team is the one he's on at the time. And that would make him the #1 commodity should he ever hit FA. And I do not see that as mercenary or self-serving, I just think that's the way he's wired.
No, it’s still here, just not moving as fast as they predicted and they cannot explain that. They gave me 6 months without their traditional treatment and I am approaching 14 going the homeopathic route. And GR, I will never be in the grave, I will be in the wind.
Why don't you go for more aggressive treatment to actually save your life? Because once you die you no longer exist at all in the universe...

Him missing out on 2020 made teams question that. Him skipping that season is the real moment that Dallas got lucky… because if Parsons played that season, I don’t think he ever makes it to Dallas.
Here's to you Dr. Fauci & Xi Jinping for giving us the first 5 years of Parsons' career..... now can we pay it off with a Super Bowl? That is the question.

I’m not sure if this has been posted or not. I looked and didn’t see it, so all apologies if I missed it.

Nice to see Parsons focusing on the problem stopping the run, even after the largest road victory in team history. He’s not letting the team forget that they still have to make sure to keep focusing on and working on stopping the run. He’s not letting the team get comfortable after just allowing 3 points to the Vikings.

Anyway, here is an excerpt and the link:

Based of what we've seen in his first two years, which includes two double-digit sacks seasons, a Rookie of the Year award, a Pro Bowl spot and first-team All-Pro selection, it's safe to assume Micah Parsons hasn't been picked on too much throughout his life.

Yet, when asked about the Cowboys' leaky run defense this year, Parsons compared it to a kid being bullied at school. And even though the Cowboys weren't exposed last week against the Vikings, Parsons knows the team will continue to be tested.

"I'm staying mad. Once the disrespect is out there, people are going to still try you," Parsons said on Tuesday. "It's almost like the bully trying to take your lunch money every day until you say 'no, that's enough.' They're going to keep taking your lunch money. I'm at that point, that's enough, you're not going to keep taking my lunch money."

He is on pace for 17 sacks this season...

I like the player but this is all talk

The Vikings ran just fine, they just fell behind and gave up. Also we have the most difficult time with mobile QBs and RPO. Stop Philly and SF then I’ll buy it

until then, I’ve seen this movie before

Well, request a Southerly wind, please. I think I'm starting to develop allergies.

64 regular season sacks for the 85 Bears.
- plus 16 in the playoffs

72 for the 84 Bears.
- plus 10 in the playoffs.

2022 Cowboys on pace for:
71.4 (17 games)

67.2 (16 games)

True did not think about the extra game. Cowboys have some work to do.

Best Wishes and Prayers to you.

They gave my uncle 6 months when diagnosed back in the 1980s. He ended up living another 20 years into his eighties.

Don't really want to go into this in regular threads but that more aggressive treatment would have already ended my life. The problem with stage 4 is that they just keep pumping that stuff into you until you can't take anymore. It is not life saving for this, just life extending vs no treatment.

As far as existing in the universe, can't discuss that here at all. But there is far more in the unknown than in the known.

That’s up to the coaches to do… I still want my star players wanting to play, even if they shouldn’t.

Coaches have to say no… which they did.
Coaches word should be law..
Then why was he back out there?
Love his attitude, and it was a great game, but this whole deal was/is concerning to me.

85 Bears had 34 INTs and held opponents to less than 80 yards rushing per game.

They only allowed 6 rushing TDs but their offense scored 27 rushing TDs...

There is a lot more to be concerned about than stars coming out in blowout victories. You may be over worrying about stuff if it concerns you that much.

I never referenced the 85 Bears. I did mention the 84 Bears in regards to the sack record.

Thank you John, I had not made this public in the Fan Zone and hadn't planned on it but GR asked me a question and I didn't want to ignore him. I have pretty much kept this in one thread in the OTZ and don't want this to derail any football threads.

Either he blew off what the coach told him to do which is bad.
Or he used poor judgement playing nicked when we have another game in 4 days and we had a large lead.
You think either is a small issue ?
Asking nicely btw.

I can appreciate that, that's very unselfish of you.
A lot of zoners dont read the other forums.
I know most here would want to know so they could be praying for you and giving to whatever support they can.

Yeah, I do. parsons wants to play. And when the coaches pulled him, he didn’t go back in.

We just view it differently. It’s ok.
