Couple things.

Obviously Tyron doesn't move as well as he used to, but he's also going to move a lot better come September. That's a lot of time and reps before the season starts.

Micah does this to just about everyone. He's the most talented passrusher in the league. It's not really a barometer of anything.

However, at this stage in his career Tyron isn’t what he was. With all the injuries he’s had I’m surprised he’s still playing. It’s going to be interesting to see how long we go before his next injury because we all know it’s not if but when.
Sure Tyron is no longer great ... but can he still be considered at least Good ?

That's what I think the Cowboys are clearly harping on right now .

But can he still handle the elite edge rushers, not named TJ Watt, Myles Garrett, Nick Bosa, Matthew Judo, Hasson Riddick, and Von Millers of the world.?

He’s definitely still good, which is why the Cowboys are staying with him despite all the games he’s messed. Jerry likes availability and he hasn’t been very available, but he plays a critical position and has some position flex.

Most defensive ends in this league aren't going to be able to do that to Tyron Smith. We just happen to have one that can.
I am not certain of that Tyron hasn’t been a dominating tackle in a few years

Tyron was seriously injured very early in last years camp... and didn't make a return until December.

With his acute injury - durability it's just not a guarantee, he could go at any given time.

Having Tyler Smith handy is the HUGE Plan B key, ..but who steps in at LG when Tyler does switch outside at LT ?
Who is a reliable LG choice ?

Do we see anyone else in camp that is destroying Tyron on a routine basis as Parson is doing now ?

That would answer if Tyron is just washed up.
:huh:..." Anyone else" in camp, other than DLaw isn't a starter he'll face weekly

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tyron Smith should be the backup swing tackle, not the starting left tackle, he's just not the same same player anymore.......
This seems like an overreaction to one of the best pass rushers in the game beating Tyron on one snap.

You're correct, not a lot of tread left, love the player but he's only played something like 17 games in the last three years because of injuries....And I don't see him playing but a handful of games if he's the starter....
The dude is a beast.

He will be fine.
