I’ll wait to see how he does in a game against someone who’s not Micah Parsons before calling him a washed up bum, I think he’ll be fine. I worry about his availability, not what he’ll look like when available.

Why make it about Tyron?
Is there an OT in the league who can stone Parsons 1-1 on an open side with no TE there? No! It requires a TE, WR, or RB chip to allow the T to get hands on him. His quickness and strength to go inside makes it impossible on the T who’s guarding against a speed rush.

Micah beat Tyron in two clips where Tyron knew Micah could not hit his QB???????

I find that hard to believe.

That would have been a 10 yard holding call on Tyron. Parsons is a beast.

Keep in mind that while Tyron is getting older and has a lot of wear and tear, the point made that offensive linemen don't go all out in training camp so they save their wear and tear for the regular season is true. Parsons gives 100% no matter what.

As LTs get older the speed rushers become more challenging but still hold up against power rushers which is why a move to RT is often in the cards.

I dont know what to make of these videos. Maybe Tyron was told to take it easier and isnt going 100%. Maybe Parsons is just that good, maybe he is decling, maybe he had an off day.

Hard to make a big deal out of practice, but would say its a combo of things above.

Micah Parsons' first 2-3 steps are on such an elite level that there's reps where he's barely touched. Sometimes his footwork reminds me of a WR coming off the line of scrimmage beating the jam with a move then it's off to the races to the QB.

Remember last year? We all thought Terrance was gonna be a weak leak because of how bad he was getting beat by parsons? no question Tyron has slowed down but parsons peony is the best DE in the game, give it a take a spot

As someone posted in another thread.........is Parsons that good or Tyron is pretty much washed up? He admitted yesterday he was kicking off some dust but .......goodness.

Tyron was very slow to adjust to that spin move. Micah is great, but if that's how he plays were going to have a below average lt. FWIW always been a big fan of Tyron, but his last two years especially last were likely show of decline of play.
