You'll find that there are a fair few posters that respond to you in such a way because you've got this one sided view on Dak, but pre-text most with an 'I'm not a Dak fan' then proceed with paragraphs lauding him.
Now as for Micah, what you wrote in #140 may be correct (as it is for Dak), the difference is that Micah provides value for the rest of our pass rushing as he's frequently/always double teamed, or as in the 9ers play-off games he, for some reason, stayed lined up against Trent Williams.
funny, because I also have tons of comments criticizing Dak, in fact being on record for saying this past summer that we should move on and its the best move for both sides!!!
but unlike you, who has drawn this very thin line, if everybody just doesn't incessantly, 365x7 criticize dak, then they must be a supporter....a child's mentality per se.
people often criticize and when I ask pointed questions and show facts, they say, I am a supporter...... because they get bamboozled by not being able to answer so their go to line is your very comment above!!!!
I like Micah, I will hold him to same standards as the Dak Hate Cult that if he ends up as the highest paid player, then he has to perform at that level for every opponent and every game specially better teams in the league, understanding that there will be ups and downs along the way.
but if he only shows up against the panthers and giants of the world and disappears against better opponents and in the playoffs, then if we made that mistake with Dak, why make it with Micah?
and if he doesn't show up against the better teams and the rest of the team doesn't do better, then where is the value? if he actually is getting double teams we should see improved defensive performance. the fact is that we don't get better results, then does he really have value?
he is talented. physically a freak. but I just don't think he is as focused on football.
with that said, I understand these things are complicated. including our coaching and game planning leaves a lot to be desired.
