He’s winning me over. I was about done with him and his immaturity but I’m starting to see how much he cares. To me this is a green light to sign him asap

Who cares about the optics, so long as he's doing it on the field, I dont care what he does sitting on the bench. Does the 1000 yard stare elevate the team ? Maybe a stirring speech from Henry V: "Band of Brothers", "once more into the breach....."
He's a 'follow me' type of leader on the field.....he isnt the psychology graduate?

Remember this is a Dak fan first and foremost and not even the cap health of the Star is a consideration for him.

My version to YOU would be.....NFL is a business just like your job & mine, from the standpoint of worth & pay standards. Maybe you would take a pay cut or reduction on the job because management says "We have to pay Becky too", but I wouldn't. It's that simple.

People are taking his comments as a shot against Dak but if anything seems like a preemptive shot at Jerry and their tendency to drag their feet in big contract negotiations to give themselves cover for not being active in free agency. Dak even made the same comments about not necessarily wanting to be the highest paid. It’s possible Dak was going to work with the Cowboys but once Jerry and Stephen dragged their feet he said no point taking a paycut for them to just pocket the savings.

I'll agree that he may be saying, get it sorted early, so we can plan. But, sorry, what you've said about Dak is an extremely fictitious take, indeed, didnt he smirk when he said it?
I hope Micah, unlike Dak, gets to get undertakings with his contract.....on the lines of ok Jerry i'll help you out on (aav or length), but I want these guarantee's about the players around me, im giving you this contract (and making a sacrifice) to win.
Dak, as shown with the NTC and no FTag, was acting in his own interest, which is his prerogative, but he becomes a part of the problem if he doesnt personally play up to the contract.

Yep....Jerry does a lot of unnecessary waiting or delay, that only has caused "being backed into a corner"......but he's had a choice every time.......sign or don't sign, every time.

he shows up against bad teams. completely disappears against better teams.
his stat line from GB game was 2 tackles. 1 solo, 1 assist.
Against SF the year before, he has total of 4 tackles. 1 solo, 3 assisted
