Parsons rhetoric

Parsons would have been traded already if the front office was competent.
Hand this guy a truckload of money and he'll be a disruption not a leader, as he takes himself out of the game for a break. TRADE

Steve one of the things that irks me about what JJ and SJ have done with Parsons is to put all the negotiation talk out in public.

Since Sully mentioned “real world” jobs think about this - Imagine you are up for your annual revue and a raise is in order. But your boss announces at an office meeting in front of other employees that you “need to want to get paid” and that they need more “leadership” from you. That would be fine in a face-to-face private meeting. But in public?

And what if Micah started saying, “Jerry and Stephen don’t have much room to talk about accountability and leadership do they?” He would be under attack, and rightly so for talking that way about his bosses (even though it’s true!) Why is it ok for the Jones to diss employees in public?
Maybe JJ and SJ don't know how to GM a football team...but they SHOULD know how to run a business. One of the first rules of management is privacy and discretion.

Further proof they'd rather stay in the news than do things "right".

Both are to blame. Try doing what Parson is doing at your own job.
Is my boss gonna talk about my employent to the news media and talk about my health?

No?

Then its not the same at all now is it?

Not to mention Jones could fire Parsons at any time if he does not like it.

Parsons cannot quit and continue his career in the NFL

The Micah hype is unwarranted. He plays small when we need him to wreak havoc. Micah, where you at man? All we fans hear is you talking. Do you love the game or do you love what the game does for you? Big difference and yes, it matters.

Both are to blame. Try doing what Parson is doing at your own job. Tell them that you want to keep working at the job but unless they pay you the HIGHEST salary, at your position. If they don't then the company is to blame. You really want to stay there but will not be disrespected.
Actually if you are top 5 in the world at your field you can absolutely go to your company and name your price. If not you can easily go somewhere else and get it. Not sure how you can spin this as Micah's fault, this is all on the front office for dragging it out needlessly.

I'm much more on Parson's side than the Jones boys. We can do without the Jones' but we do need Micah. Having said that, we do need to dispell the myth about "playing for peanuts" on a bargain rookie contract. Micah is being very well paid for 2025. His 5th yr rookie base pay is $24,000,000. He's not being disrespected by the FO. It's probably just a blow to his ego to see some chumps out there making more. But $24 million for a season in a ROOKIE contract is pretty darn good

and now, Jerry and Stephen, after putting it all in the media are apparently going backwards in their offer and it looks like we’re headed toward them playing hardball and making him play out his lame duck season and then we’ll see a franchise tag

I’m sure none of the players are watching this and thinking “my boss is an ***”

Parsons, like majority of players, enjoy spitting out poison with cliches of : " I want to be a lifelong ____________ player"
Parsons are easily be a life-long Dallas player but want to NEXT record breaking deal or he feels disrespected.
NFL will eventually be on a strike in one form or another. Can't have a team with 3-5 players soaking up 50% of the salary cap. Players really don't care about winning a Superbowl over wanting the contract(s) that sets them up for the rest of their life. They can buy their own ring(s), along with all the other "toys". Fans want the Superbowl, players want the money, while they can still play.
I do not agree that Parsons is spitting poison. My prediction is that Jethro and his son are not going to pay Parsons. He will be tagged and when that is over he will go to free agency and get a boat load of dough and play for the Rams or the Iggles. I have a strong sense that Dallas will not be his home.

I wish Parsons would say that. Anything to put those bozos in their place.

If Micah wants to win a title he'll have to go somewhere else that's for sure

My issue with Parsons is, I just don't know if his body is going to hold up much longer. I also just don't like a player that is good for about a quarter and a half every game before he burns himself out and he's huffing and puffing on the sideline for the next two and a half quarters.

I see sacks from Parsons, but I don't see a ton of disruption anywhere else.
