I am all aboard the Peppers train.

I think he is only a "tweener" because he happens to be good at everything.

If he had simply been a 3 year safety he would be the best in class and a top 5 pick.

He offers so much more.

More like pass on the Peppers. Guy doesn't have a position and our defense isn't creative enough to take advantage of a talented tweener type.
ROI. Return game in both kr and pr. S can play nickel lb. Can even flex out and cover RBS in the slot. He may even be able to cover guys like Edelman and Beasley. I had my reservations also but I'm buying the hype. Guy can play. He can catch better than twill and ran a 4.4. his size is smallish but is so athletic. TE matchups would probably be difficult for him.

Byron Jones would probably be covering the tight end. At least IMO.

I like Peppers a lot. He is a safety and a good return guy. A team leader with a good attitude.

Too easy to find SS later on and that's not where I'd want to spend significant cap dollars.

I like him though. I get a Brian Dawkins vibe with him...for some other team.

I see no reason why he can't play the same role as John Lynch did in Maranellia defense. Especially when they can use a db/lb they can blitz. He'd be perfect here.

Some of you are so frustrating, you can't see the forest for the trees. I see a pure football player. I see a guy with elite athleticism. I see a guy that diagnoses a play and reacts the way that we all gush over Sean Lee for. I see a guy that stepped up for his team and played in a less ideal position because it made his team better. I see a guy that has everything you look for in a safety except having played the position.

Whatever "IT" is, he has it and will be an outstanding player in the NFL and I hope 27 teams are as (too many negative adjectives to list) as some of the people saying to pass on him.

Yes, you can tell that he is a player that you would like to have on your team. He's a good one.

Have you seen him operate in space? Diagnose passing plays? I saw a play vs I think Wisconsin where he just let a guy blow right by his area because of course he's too busy trying to play the run like the wannabe lb that he is

You have no idea what his responsibilities are, and yeah he played "wanna be LB" because his coaches asked him to. The guy was one of the best prospects in the nation coming out of high school and still is. Surprised you can't see his potential considering how on adorees jock you are.

Id be happy with either of them

Dont over think these guys at 28. They're all gonna have warts. If you over scrutinize, you'll wind up not liking anyone
