Patrick Peterson or Prince?

If thats the case he's wrong then. The only reason the Cards are starting a rookie late rd pick is because two other QB's got hurt, not because they wanted to "evaluate" anybody.

The Commanders are benching McFlabb not because they want to find out about Grossman, but because they already know what McFlabb is and know they dont want him around.

There is no answers for the Cards, they have a collection of terrible QB's

The Commanders however have a pro bowler playing on a team that has been awful in every aspect. So they do what, bench their QB to play a guy they know is bad? McNabb plays one of his better games of the year for them the week previous and they respond by benching him?

If they don't want him then they should cut him. If they are angling to trade him, then they should continue to play him. If they want to win, then they should play their best QB. McNabb.

I'm sure they didnt have a meeting and decide okay, let's start losing these games for draft picks. That doesn't mean they aren't making moves now they KNOW will cost them games, just for the sake of making a statement.

To me, that's the same as tanking games.

I have watch both Peterson and Price and neither one is capable of locking down anyone in the NFL. They are not in Champ Baily and Charles Woodson catergory. I think if Jenkins gets his head on right and quit trying to get picks he as good as both of them. Terrance Newman and Roy Williams are two guys that I would trade to move up in the Draft. Give me Farley and take Jenkins from Florida and we are back to the elite again.[

We don't have a shot at either so there's no point to this discussion.

Sure we do. I know a lot of people think it's a given they will be gone, but if Eric Berry can make it to #5, anything is possible. DB's aren't typically taken in the top 5 picks.

Berry is the only DB to go in the top 5 since Sean Taylor in 2004.

Let's say on pure physical talent alone people view him the way they saw Laron Landry coming out, well Landry went 6th overall.

This isn't to say it's impossible, but some people think Peterson will be the 2nd player off the board after Luck, and I don't think it's that cut and dry at all. I think we have a legit shot at both, even if we would have to trade up to grab Peterson, he would still be within reach.

I would draft Prince in a heartbeat if he fell to us.

I would trade up to get Peterson.

Prince is overrated, Blackmon beat him like a rented mule. Prince was abused and you could that he knew it in his body language.

This isn't a close question. One is just in a different league than the other.

Looks like with a win today and a win against arizona, were not in petersons range.

Was there any corners that Blackmon didn't do that to? Oh, that's right, he does it to everyone. Thanks.

Now, with that said, even though I'm a Husker fan and I love Prince I'd take Peterson over him all day long. Peterson is going to be an elite stud in the NFL, I think. I believe Prince will be a real solid corner in the league, but that's the big difference in my mind.

Prince will be a solid guy and I believe Peterson will be a stud.

I talked about this before - if you think Prince was 'abused' in that game, then you likely only saw the box score and nothing else.

Nebraska is one of my favorite college football programs so I am biased towards Prince and love his name. So I'm picking Prince.

A lot of people will say how good a punt/kick returner Peterson is but then theyll change their mind and say he is too valuable to be returning kicks, just like some do with Dez. Give me Prince please.

we have a better shot at winning the superbowl this year then staying put and drafting Peterson. And I highly doubt we trade up from 10-14 to top 5. Too expensive.

It not to expensive if you consider the overload we have at RB and WR. Let's say we are picking 11th. We could move up 5-6 spots by trading our #1 (11th) and our 3-4 round pick.

Before that we would need to secure an additional 3-4rd round pick by moving RW and/or MB. Im sure there are some other players that could be discussed as well.

That would be a good draft.

Jenkins from Florida can play and he makes plays.

there is no way we move up that high by only trading our first and a 3rd; would probably have to use our 4th as well.

ummm NO, watched every play. Prince couldn't cover him and he knew it, even with help. Not that anyone has been able to this year but if Prince is a top 10 draft pick, ....someone's getting ripped off and I hope it ain't us. I'm sure he'll be okay in the NFL but he's clearly a tier lower than Peterson. Not saying Prince ain't good, but I think he got a tad overrated based on the performance of the Neb D as a whole last year...one with Suh and still anchored with Crick.

Crick is a player I'd take in the second...he'll be the typical D player from Neb that is a monster for a decade but never gets much credit, workman like but extremely productive IMO.

Hey ! When you have an agenda, you stick with it no matter what.

Prince has had multiple picks this year - 3 or 4 that I can remember. The only thing is, every single time he has gotten one, the defense has picked up a stupid penalty to get it wiped out. Prince has literally been the most unlucky guy in the world this year when it has came to INTs.

He'd fit right in here...:banghead:

Prince gave up all his catches in the 1st half. I've actually watched that game multiple times, and have noticed that Prince covered Blackmon as much in the 2nd half as Dennard did. They did however split responsibilities. But Blackmon's 2nd half catches (only 2 for limited yards) were not on Prince.

But of the catches Prince DID give up ..

Got beat cleanly on a comeback route.

Gave up a play off an underthrown pass which Blackmon stopped and pushed Prince on past where the ball was going to be. Prince was looking back at the ball, but Prince fell down from the push.

Last one was a trick play on the flea flicker. No safety help over the top as they bit HARD on the play. Prince caught up to Blackmon and could have made a play, but never tracked the ball.

Now if you considered that being 'abused', then you have a different definition then most everyone else.

And Crick - dude is overrated, and that coming from a Nebraska fan. Not sure where he fits in the NFL as he usually plays in the high 270-low 280lbs range. Could be a 3-4 end, but lacks any real athleticism to be a greatly productive 3-4 end.

That isn't even mentioning that the vast majority of his sacks came as a result of coverage sacks. Most of the sacks Nebraska produced this year were a result of coverage sacks, which was a point many of us fans complained about all year. Our d-line struggled greatly generating any type of pressure on the year without help from us blitzing.

The only game this year where Crick was disruptive based on him beating his man consistently was the OU game. Crick was beastin' that game.
